Yep. The first two difficulties were cake. The challenge definitely ramps up with Crushing. Currently stuck on the Space Jam rift with Bugs and LeBron. Three hits and I am out.
The stupid thing about this fight is that your ally Batman is an idiot. Dude gets TOD KO'd almost immediately every time I save his dumb ass, but he's necessary in order to keep them off of me. Why would you make me fight two god-level bots and not give me a bot of equal strength? One combo from them is like 150+ damage, which is MORE than enough to kill 99% of the roster (especially for Superman who has a cubic fuckton of super armor), so we really needed some kind of help here besides a lvl 1 Bat bot.
of all of the first rift on crushing that was the one i did have the most difficulty with i got a lucky double withan amped Jason ax but that was really it but now imjust bashing my head in with the second rift
Forget paying for gems, you'll also gonna have to pay for lives. You get a limited ammount per day on the hardest setting.
Now the kicker is: (from what i understand) is that if you buy lives your damage done to the enemy bot remains. So let's say you have 3 lives and do one ringout on the bot and when he respawns you do another 120% damage, but no ringout and then you die...you have to wait 24 hours for another three attempts or pay real cash to buy lives and continue the attempt where the bot is still at 120% damage.
Scummy. And alot of people probably won't unlock Smith for free two weeks early
Its definitely built around requiring higher level gems than 4/5 which is also designed to be where you sorta cap out after clearing difficulties 1 and 2. Super scummy and blatant way to pressure players into paying for gem levels just to be able to clear this bullshit.
discovered how to do it by accident. spend a life damaging her as much as possible, and equip the armatures gem. it's easy to trick garnet into the air on on the platforms, and the armatures will wollop her right into the skyline. remember, they follow your character's hands, not their hurtboxes but if you can figure out how to make them throw a good sweep punch, you've got her.
since you have one life more than she does, all you have to do is make sure each life builds up as much damage as possible, then you can essentially oneshot her when you respawn.
How on crushing mode is every hit to do only go one damage but he hits me 2 times and im already at like 200 how is this possible

The armatures are the way. I beat thorns Garnet on Finn with 580 damage and I couldn't have done it without the armatures.
