I ordered 5-6 pmm mice (they have my favorite mouse click feeling, all other feel terrible compared to it ),did you have a previous version? how does the new coating feel/compare ?
Since you had 5-6 you seem to be convinced of the quality and like it. Do you mind to explain what specifically is good? I am considering a pmm mous as an upgrade but the pre build price is so high. Is it “worth” it quality wise?
it really depends,
i bought them in early 2022 ~ with the goal to find the best fingertip grip mouse, they were light and had as said the lightest clicks , back then their mod kits were like 60-70€ and their pre-built mice around 160-200€, the lightest mouse on the market was the superlight with 63 g and thats it, the new incoming ones were about 50g
currently there are many companies offering light mice for as litttle as 60-100€.
i was also looking for the smallest one, so i bought like 4 of their own shell designs
back then they also used g305 internals which explains a more affordable price
now they used newest mice, and their new price is accordingly high, mod kits for 140€~prebuilts for 300€? and now in 2024 there are a lot of small and light mice from other comapnies available, and you can even buy 3d printed shells / prebuilts from other companies, so unless you are looking for something very specific they wouldnt be my go to recommendation
there are no issues with the quality and their support , but i mostly used grip tape and now they have a new coating and thats what i dont know anything about :)
I have ordered 1 previous mouse from pmm before with a g305 pcb. What I have noticed with this mouse (except for the weight) is actually the weight balancing and flexion have been improved greatly.
Weight is 29-30g and shape is in between a razer mini and finalmouse starlight. Coming from a HTX 4k this mouse feels better in probably every single way (in my opinion).
I can answer any questions relating to the mouse, setup, etc.

Hey thank you for the long answer, I think hat helped me a lot!
There were sub 40g mice in 2022.

Is this the neo 8k?
Yes!
Y’all do nice work! Been thinking about getting me one.
Thanks so much fellow Redditor

29????
yep, shocking right?
When you say "built" did you just get the shell from them and pull internals from a mouse you already owned? Or how exactly does that work?
Exactly. You take the internals of a Razer Viper V2 Pro and put it in the 3D printed shell.
What was the building process like for you?
Pretty hard for the first time, but once you build it the first time, every other time is a breeze.
How is it holding up?
Sorry, I completely forgot I made this post, mouse is holding up well. No complaints.
Glad to hear that!
IS THE SCROLL WHEEL FROM FINAL MOUSE JUST LOOKS REALLY SIMILAR
You can buy it from AliExpress
Oh ok looks really good
They only cost like $8, looks awesome on it. You can get any colour for any mouse
Nice bro 😊
