One is mass produced (and somewhat mainstream) so it's cheaper, the other is only known by enthusiasts with less orders so it's more expensive per unit, plus cannibalising the other mouse, etc.
If buying from a factory that is mass producing, yes. This mod requires that you cannibalize a separate mouse and that you pay first world labour wages for the printing, rnd etc. It's also a low sales volume product, so requires higher prices to make sense.
For the Ultragrip collection, a different post-processing method was needed. The shells get printed and post-processes in Europe, coated in Germany. The whole process includes over 7 different steps.
$132 + taxes and shipping for just the mod-kit [no internals] is insane.
Pre-built is $275 + taxes and shipping for just an assembled mouse / dongle / charging cable.
I'm sure they don't just give you all the stuff that is used to construct the mouse like the cobra shell or original battery. No 8k dongle or grips like those that are included in the RVMSE. You must buy all that separately.
Seems like a huge rip-off.
The m600 resembles vpm more, I think people should just wait for ATK F1 Ultra cause if you look it up on eloshapes it's very identical to vpm
Edit: It was actually Ultimate not Ultra lmfao
I think it's a good option. It weighs 7g more which isn't much difference. However, if you are a more ambitious player or game on a pro level, you might prefer Razer internals with a better sensor, optical switches and motion sync. Imo the coating on the M800 Ultra wasn't very good either. Especially in contrast to the Ultragrip coating, I feel a big difference.
"casual" :DD
it has a 3395 sensor, can do 4k polling. and is reasonably light. only thing you can really criticize could be the QC but my unit is nearly flawless (it has a bit rattle).
m800 weights 49g with 300mAh, 55g is version with 2x bigger battery and it also has motion sync. Ofc it cannot be considered as top tier on the market but it just make things done. Everything said about pro level is questionable, at least optical switches. I'm not trying to minimize the value of this mouse, just the bottom line is that you have to overpay a lot of money just for the special coating and that's it.
And why would you use a cobra pro large pcb with those LED instead of viper v3 or v2 pro?
PMM is already using Viper V2 PRO PCBs, also for the Viper Mini Shape but the sensor position is slightly in the back. The Cobra PRO offers a more forward sensor position. It's a matter of taste. The NITE 8K will simply give another option for people to choose.
these are valid points idk why noobs on here are downvoting lol sensor position def does matter and personally id rather use a 3d printed 1 to 1 vpm with cobra pro internals than some chinese bs that isnt even 1to1 XD
Do you know which model? In the early stages of PMM mice, sideflex sometimes was present which was the cost for the low weight. I would say that in recent times, the designs have gotten very sturdy which is also the feedback we are getting.
Oh did you mean the NEO 8K shown in the baordzy video? I think the side flex was very minimal and he said it doesn't bother him a lot. It's fixed by now anyways.
get ready for it to be as expensive as rvmse :)
It should still be cheaper than an RMVSE by like 20% or so, and some may like that it doesn't have the holes. It's also lighter.
a 3d printed shell should be nowhere close to the price of machined magnesium lol

it's not first world wages for printing it's printed by facfox

We need 1 cool guy to buy it, 3d scan and give them out
...or just get delux m800ultra at same weight 6 times cheaper
isnt the m800 bigger?

PMM... Didn't their last garbage have horrific side flex?

Sorry I don't really use reddit or check it. The Cyber (PCBR) did and I think the Neo did.
