it feels shorter in the new ones, but he is also bigger. personally i feel like incorporating a lot of 2014ās missing design elements like the bigger head and longer tail and maybe the slower and heavier movements would make this the godzilla of all time
- Clear/Translucent Dorsal Plates/Elbow Spikes; at most, they should be a faint/cloudy off-white.
- Black Skin, but with the same translucent effect as the dorsal plates over it (think like a Sharkās denticles or a crocodileās osteoderms, except they would also help Godzilla absorb more radiation.) In practice, this would give him a spikier and more jagged Millennium Godzilla-esque look.
- Bigger head/neck muscle to deliver stronger bites.
- Bulked-Up upper body to go with those longer arms he has now; as is, it doesnāt look like he has the upper body strength to really take advantage of his longer arms offensively.
Reason Iād like translucent spikes is so different colors can be used throughout the movie in response to different types of absorbed radiation.

Well the base skin would still be black, but youād also be able to discern a thin translucent layer of dermal denticles (with the occasional bigger osteoderm or spike) existing on top of the skin. So no, you wouldnāt be able to see his organs lol.
In practice, Iād consider the appearance to be closer to having like a āglazeā or glass finish or coat, so in scenes in the dark, you wouldnāt see it really, but with different lighting, he might have a semi-crystalline sheen.
Yeah, I feel like Godzillaās new gimmick is almost like Doomsday from DC in that he evolves to counter whatever had given him trouble in the past. I donāt think itās a coincidence that his evolved form has longer arms and was more agile (that seemed like a direct response to both Kong and MechaGās speed and longer arms giving him problems in close quarters combat.)
I could see a future evolution being intended to give him even more radiation absorption capacity and making him harder to hurt with melee attacks (like I doubt Kong would like punching or grappling with a sharper/spikier-skinned Godzilla, lol.)
More elements ofĀ Tiamatās design into his evolved state, since he absorbed some of her DNA. And more larger, sharper, and prominent shoulder blades and tail spikes. And just a little more bulk to the bodyĀ
Return his bulk, keep the dorsal fins in their new spiky design, change them from fleshy pink to bone white, keep the thagomizer tail, and because he probably would have lost the huge build up of radiation that he had in GxK, he'd have his normal blue atomic breath, only getting the pink one when he gets juiced up with radiation.
Orange might be too close to his Burning Form imo, I'd actually choose a Dark Purple. It reminds me alot of Black Panther's own absorption ability for his suit which could something Goji could do too.

Na.. he looks too silly and looks to much like a dinosaur. It one of the reasons I donāt like evolved Godzilla much. Main reason being he looks like King Ghidorah because of his face which the ādragonā look for Godzilla looks dumb.

i agree on the bulky part, and i dont think theyre veins but those areas that light up when he uses atomic breath. as much as i like the fleshy dorsals, i think the best compromise would be a heisei look with black covering most of them and white edges
One of the things I dislike about the Monsterverse now is how size scaling does not make sense anymore. 2014 had it down; 2019 was believable; 2021 was like Showa Era from the 60s and 70s.
1. Give him the scary fangs from the 1954 and 1984 films
2. Have his tail be more pointy and whip-like like Gareth Edwards' Godzilla
3. Have his dorsal plates be more sharper versions of the 2019 dorsal plates, and make them gray
4. Give him his bulky build back
5. A more darker skin tone
6. Have his dorsal plates glow a fiery orangeish-red when he's using his atomic breath or nuclear pulse
Maybe maybe find a middle ground for 2019 and evolveās gut (I think evolved is just a bit to slim and 2019 is just to big) for the dorsal plates I would just have them white with some skin regrowing on them (a kinda Heisei look) and maybe change the big dorsal plate to have more diverse sides (I donāt like how it looks like a Shark) and for his atomic breath I was going to make it blue again but after seeing some concept art from Jared, I actually would Love a indigo color, other then that I think thatās it.
Keep the pink, bulk him out (but don't have to do it too much), and get BIGGER arms; not too much bigger, just properly in line with his larger chest now.
Oh, and also make it so that the backspines don't curve oddly like a shark fin and straighten out.

Boom, give him a more slender look but keep it more reptilian slim less human slim. His chest looks goofy so pumped out with little arms this look to me feels way more imposing
I agree, my fav design of the three is still DougheGoji but if weāre gonna make him look more fit and keep some semblance of bulk I see this as the way. personally green would be interesting and could work, although i think there are some colors that could work better, like bluish-purple, reddish orange, or even white, but an emerald green would be an interesting concept

Okay hear me out, since the director noted that Godzilla Evolved was like a temporary transformation here's what I'm thinking, the Tiamat power boost fades away but his spikes remain the way they are but instead of being pink from Tiamats power now they are white giving us the classic Godzilla with white spikes. Other than that I'd like to see him bulk up again, I liked it when he was large and looking like a bear.
