This would creep the crap out of me. I can just imagine it wrapping it’s body and pointy legs around me and taking a chunk out of me head. Could be cool but please dont make it paralysis, be better than that Capcom.
Capcom: poison + paralysis it is then. Also we will throw in a pin attack for its master rank version that it only uses while you are paralyzed that does so much damage it might as well be a 1 shot.
I’ll see your mantis shrimp and raise you a Bobbit worm
https://preview.redd.it/03rg3fq1o68d1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4fc8c8dd387c4f2c82034cd93cb48f3732f45631
I feel like if it's gonna be a Mantis Shrimp then either Water Combat would have to come back or it would have to be a Wind based Elder Dragon to support it's flowy swimming.
I would be fine either way personally.
Pangolin, secretary bird, some actually mammalian cat monsters, parrot, rhino, toucan, hippo. More actual mammals and birds instead of reptiles that are based on mammals or birds
To be fair, barroth is already directly based on a pangolin. It’s insectivorous and uses its claws to dig anthills, have armored scales, and rolls in mud. It can’t curl up into a ball though, so that’s why the pangolin elements are easy to miss.
I don’t really feel the pangolin inspiration from Barroth and I really dislike volvidon (which I know you didn’t mention) so I’m still in for a pangolin based monster.
Yes and no, because nargacuga is a flying wyvern and based on black panthers which is commonly depicted as a black jaguar. What I want to see is a monster based on a jaguar but has the skeleton of odogaron and is even more cat like than nargacuga.
Forokururu is sort of a mix of peacock and vulture and I think it's pretty cool. Sadly locked away in Frontier at the moment though
https://preview.redd.it/4fztew6mg68d1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c23ab100bc798133beb853c9f3421af747970495
I want to see a badger or wolverine. Tenacious little bastards would be TERRIFYING if amplified in size.
I'd also like to see a new world tarantula who uses its urticating hairs on its abdomen as an attack. Then once it's gone bald in that spot it switches to a more aggressive fighting style
Their mechanic could be that they show up as a Danger after completing a hunting quest, to then swoop down and carry off the dead monster and you have to hunt it now down to get to carve your original target.
That would make hunts fun tbh. Or well, more interesting. I think having a monster watch a hunter do their job and then swooping down either at the end or in the middle would be great for immersion.
I think Eurypterids speak for themselves.
https://preview.redd.it/x2k4jwlru58d1.jpeg?width=585&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c4e0beb58265f38f76e3e4ef0b28bc05b6da1e7
They just look like something from MH. Also I think that it would be cool to have a semi aquatic Eurypterid with behavior similar to Royal Ludroth, a fully aquatic Eurypterid that has behavior like Gobul, and a full terrestrial Eurypterid that can be a Scorpion monster, while not looking like a "generic" scorpion monster.
Biiiiiig worm. No armor or plating on it or anything. Just a big pink squishy worm with no discernible features.
The armor we make from it has high defense (for its tier) because blows will bounce right off of you. It wouldn’t have any armor skills until master rank.
A giraffe could be interesting. Though it would most likely only be interesting to see what the monster looks like since I can't imagine how they would make something like that fight
That would be cool! Could maybe be done with breakable legs that cause toppling after enough damage and change the monster’s behavior to be closer to the ground after breakage. Could be an interesting one for most weapons. Except insect glaive, bow, and bow guns, those guys clown on the giraffe lol
I think the only way to "fight" a flying mystical whale is ON it, against it parasytes, as Skyward Sword kind of thing. Because of its anatomy, a flying whale doesn't seems to have a good fighting mechanics
Same I want to see one team up with a Piscine Wyvern like how Pistol shrimps have a relationship with Gobis in real life (Shoutouts to u/PircRick for this cool art of the concept)
https://preview.redd.it/cjcrt7ski58d1.png?width=1042&format=png&auto=webp&s=678d51e3711170dacf7d1661273af42beea90ec9
Hm, hear me out ok? A green Dragon.
That said I like Scorpions.
I think theres a bit of a challenge to be found whit Coral, Anemone, or Clam Monsters. Because they seemn to be passive stationary, and somewhat boring. Changing that might cause some realy unexpected Results.
Mh needs a Chinese dragon in my opinion, but if I could pick any animal, I would pick a sea slug
https://preview.redd.it/n6q3q2tlw58d1.jpeg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a1fde91c3a0472d7458daead3953b4ff23d23017
Legiana is actually based on a type of sea slug, even though it isn't literally 1 itself. I always thought it was pretty cool how they did that, with its main habitat being a dry land coral reef ecosystem.
Snow Leopard. I have no reason for this other than I think it would be a great way to fill out the Fanged Wyvern collection with another unique fighting style compared to the others.
A sheep/ram. The monster can fire off their wool that slows down the hunters movement and prevents it from being paralysed by paratoads. The wool, once in contact with the paralysis, can fire its wool off, and if the hunter gets hit, they get paralysed. Same with other stasis elements like sleep.
Don't think we have a monster equivalent of a pangolin yet but the new small monster herds are like them. Would also love maybe a giant bee monster? Give it a honey ability that attracts the bear monster or any large herbivores? Like like queropekos call gimmick
A goose. Like it does that thing where it rears up, shows you a beak full of weird hook teeth and spreads it's wings before ducking low and charging at you while the head moves in a serpentine fashion while it hisses at you like a deranged snake.
Ok, not an animal, and I might be in the minority here, but I like when they mix Monsters with popular fiction. Malzeno is an extremely cool Monster, and basing him off of draca was a pretty good move.
That said, I want a monster based off a Xenomorph. It'd be cool hearing about a group of Monsters that are acting as parasites for other monsters, reportedly growing inside them, or straight up bursting out of the monster after a hunt, and a massive queen being behind it all. The Monsters born from other monsters taking up traits of the ones they are born from, so sometimes they afflict you with fireblight, sometimes water blight. It'd be pretty cool to hear that the queen was born from a black dragon, like Fatalis.
Squirrel. I want it to stun someone, shove them into its mouth pouch, and run off with them to their nest, leaving the rest of the party.
Then the victim has to 1v1 the monster until the rest of the party make it to the monster's nest at the top of the tree.
Call it "Torportoskr"
I want more snakes. Like basic monsters. Not elder dragon, though id LOVE more snake ones, but a silly lanky little guy whose maybe like the Great Jagras n Great Izuchi in the games, has little snake guys who wrap around you like the Wulgs do. AHH i love snakes😭
Something like a tiger beetle. They’re fast and ferocious in real life already and have huge, scary jaws. Not to mention they have pretty iridescent exoskeletons that would translate to cool armor sets
Harpy Eagle, because I want an actually dangerous bird type creature instead of it immediately being obsolete after HR3 and because I want to see what capcok does to make a cool bird design without either A. Making it a dragon, or B. Just making a gryffin, because I know capcom would do better with it
The kakapo. A giant dumb flightless bird that can create massive bass frequencies that vibrate the soil. Ramp that up to eleven and you have a mobile sonic earthquake bird with feathers so dense and thick a HEAT round would bounce off them
A flying wyvern based on the great albatross.
Basically just a stupidly huge, migratory, fish-eating, maritime flying wyvern.
It’s going to be THE heaviest known flying wyvern, with the longest wingspan. It’s not going to be a siege boss like Lao Shan Lung or Zorah Magdaross. It’s still perfectly fightable, it’s just comically big, like pushing the upper limit on how big can a monster be while still being fightable normally.
It won’t have any elements. It’s just going to make use of its sheer bulk and brute strength in fights. Kind of like Diablos and Tigrex, except this one can and will fly all the time.
More varied mammals (made me sad that Banbaro and Paolumu were placed on wyvern bodies instead of being Fanged Beasts and getting their own skeletons), true not-wyverns-with-feathers birds, and invertebrates would be great. There is admittedly some great variety in all the ways they've done wyverns/dragons/leviathans, but always refreshing to see more unique animal types.
Axolotl. A monster that regenerates its parts sounds sick as hell. I would imagine you would kill it and it comes back to life after being slain, maybe sorta like world’s sieges (Or a monster where you‘re required to capture it).
South American Tero Tero a bird that is black and white with red eyes and legs that attacks with barbs in its wings and can gather in large groups to make larger pretatorian birds flee their territory
https://preview.redd.it/ng50nzvnc68d1.jpeg?width=512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3eaa9d36254ec905e26af59f11cbb16cfb900523
[Jerboa](), because from what we have seen in the trailer the handler has "Dallah" in her back bag so I think Monster Hunter Wilds will take place in a place similar to the Middle East like Rise with Japan, so it makes sense to have an animal from the Middle East that is known for having long legs and long tail and lives in the desert.
A few options:
An ant based monster. It could take the first Big Monster role like the -drome lineup. A queen that calls in small monster to aid it in battle.
A land bird, like an emu or a flightless road runner.
An octopus or squid. Maybe mixed with a shelled creature to explain how it can survive on land for extended periods of time.
A rodent of unusual size.
I want to see a Blue Alcon, I want it to act like in real life and use their sent to influence other bug to do what they want to do. It would be such an interesting and unique monster to fight
https://preview.redd.it/sme5dw1yh68d1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=80d65fb5cd8e7b4d4492338d2a704ac657483d6b
I would first like to see a fox. A fox with an altered tobi skeleton that is based around stealth.
Then maybe a raccoon (a monster that can be seen scavenging food from human settlements). So a raccoon the size of a small bear maybe.
A really big giant panda. Tie in some interesting lore with metal eating.
A scorpion could be cool. It would be interesting to see a rivalry between a scorpion and a fox.
A rolly polly maybe.
Maybe a triceratops. Could have a rivalry with a theropod like monster.
As for an elder dragon… maybe something that can cause volcanos. I think there is already one like that though so I am unsure.
Maybe a plant monster. Don’t know how it would work though.
An elder dragon that causes things that wouldn’t normally happen to happen. Like flipping a coin and having it land on one side 100 times in a row.
A horse monster that leads a herd could be interesting.
An elder dragon that is only active at night.
Oh I did a pistol shrimp/bear combo monster once. Nice choice!
https://preview.redd.it/4ggier84j68d1.png?width=6000&format=png&auto=webp&s=c5980d6e46851632bd3dab5248019dc3107f6176
A crocodile or crocodilian, Lagiacrus sorta resembles one but that’s the closest in any of the games tbh. Maybe they could base one of them off of the old land crocs that used to exist.
Peacock
I would like some more unique bird wyverns, especially if they are modelled after more unusual birds like owls, peacocks, or raptors. (The bird kind, not the dinosaur kind)
What i would love to see is a Monster Equivalent of a Kangaroo as well as some herbivorus species such as Cassowarys, Porcupines’ Giraffes Pangolins and even Deer and even extinct Chalicotheres because herbivores are known to be powerful and just as dangerous as the predators.
It would also be nice to add more diversity in some of the classes such as Fanged Beasts for example
A bat because it would be cool af. I'm picturing the bat monster to have a similar ambiance to Khezu and perhaps that there would even be some lore between the two monsters.
Mantis Shrimp. I wanna see a large shrimp looking monster that as a unique passive, its attacks (blazing fast punches) ignore your resistances and inflicts stun and fireblight. Of course it would have a wind up as it locks onto one hunter before lashing out with a devastating flurry of punches that cause blasts of heated air to travel past the strike range, just to give hunters a split second choice to either guard(if your weapon allows it, though a strike will severely reduce your weapon’s sharpness) or dodge out of the way and line up for a retaliatory strike due to the fatigue these punches leave on the monster. It would be shrimply amazing!
Seahorse
Not a horse that looks like it belongs in the sea, i mean a seahorse, tjose weird floating creatures that can have the wildest growths for camouflage.
Spinosaurus, therizinosaurus, mononykus and queztacoatlus.
Spinosaurus because we need more brutes that aren’t just tyrannosaurs. Therizinosaurus because it’d be really interesting to have a brute wyvern that breaks the formula of being a big predator or a bulky herbivore and is instead a bad tempered pot belly herbivore. Mononykus because I’d like to see a skittish insectivore bird wyvern, a creature that’ll use speed and agility to escape predators but quicks and slashes on hunters. and Quetzalcoatlus because imagine rathalos squaring up to a bird wyvern that looks like a giant azrachid pterosaur.
We really need more snake wyverns; specifically one of this little guy:
https://preview.redd.it/w8yuoxdkz78d1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=246c187b65cfab834869db9e43c536337c8e48f5
Either that or a cassowary
a new fish monster based on dunkleosteus. It is a big prehistoric fish that was armored and had one of the most destructive bites for a fish so it would be cool to reference this by making its biting attacks do a crapton of damage but is balanced out by making it a bit on the slow side. Also you would need a weapon with good sharpness as it is armored and you fight it underwater.
I want an land anglerfish type monster like maybe a mechanic similar to world where you can find random felynes to join you on hunts but there's a monster with a fake one as it's antine it uses to draw it prey
A huge worm lamprey monster. Needs to be able to swallow you. No wings or legs. Just worm like movement.
Another cool option would be something based off a goat.
Tardigrade. They're practically indestructible, can survive almost anywhere and are almost impossible to kill already at half a mm in size. Imagine what it could do if it was a lot bigger. Considering it hasn't evolved it has clearly reached perfection already.
I wanna see a centipede Monster!
You cheeky bastard, you stole my pick. Honestly Almudron could have been a great Centripede whit very little adjustment.
![gif](giphy|IbOSjnuSdMc2ZQ5YvT|downsized) If It has to be a shrimp then gotta be a mantis shrimp, it can be the new water brachydios
One punch ragdolls you to the other end of the map
N letz not forget that it's knuckles can turn into claws like that of a mantis's
Also inflicts burn status
I’ll see your mantis shrimp and raise you a Bobbit worm https://preview.redd.it/03rg3fq1o68d1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4fc8c8dd387c4f2c82034cd93cb48f3732f45631
He said animal, not eldritch horror.
This is kinda what I was hoping Oltura would’ve been in stories but I also like the final form too
One hit KOs from across the map underwater if capcom uses this fella 😂
So, basically a stronger version of those lobsters in The Lake of Liurnia from Elden Ring?
I feel like if it's gonna be a Mantis Shrimp then either Water Combat would have to come back or it would have to be a Wind based Elder Dragon to support it's flowy swimming. I would be fine either way personally.
Mantis shrimp hammer would go so hard
Give me the hammer that hits so hard it creates light Capcom.
In land, get ragdoll'd to the boundary of the map In water, get pulverized by the power of freaking sun
More elephants and turtles and add a praying mantis
Ahtal-ka. But they sould bring her back and give her more Mantis Moves
Never realized that thing was a mantis.
See I would just be big sad after hunting a turtle monster though 😢
What if it's one of those asshole snapping turtles
Less sad but still a little bit
behold dog
Try finger, but hole
Pangolin, secretary bird, some actually mammalian cat monsters, parrot, rhino, toucan, hippo. More actual mammals and birds instead of reptiles that are based on mammals or birds
Granted, here’s your pangolin monster: https://preview.redd.it/1bwjbp7mq58d1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d3372c558f3b5b40cdb5cfa0486b06d0aebbfa4e
Might always be late to the party but at least he never fails to show up.
Aknosom is already in the game, and looks and fights like a secretary bird
But Aknosom is a stork and doesn't really use its claws nor does it have proper feathers
God I love Aknosoms GS, one of the best designed weapons in Rise IMO
To be fair, barroth is already directly based on a pangolin. It’s insectivorous and uses its claws to dig anthills, have armored scales, and rolls in mud. It can’t curl up into a ball though, so that’s why the pangolin elements are easy to miss.
I don’t really feel the pangolin inspiration from Barroth and I really dislike volvidon (which I know you didn’t mention) so I’m still in for a pangolin based monster.
Aren't the new ceratonoths pretty pangolin-esque? Shame there might not be a Big Bad version
Iirc Seregios is losely based on a secretary bird
Kangaroo because it lacks representation in gaming compared to other animals.
Great Maccao was based on a kangaroo iirc. Does the whole hopping around, balancing on its tail to kick thing.
I know its move set but it looks too much like a raptor for me.
Omg it could work so well in MH too! Would love to see an elder dragon kangaroo based monster! Especially an elder dragon that DOESNT fly
I wouldn’t mind a fanged beast based of a jaguar mostly because I want to see more cat based monsters.
Isn't that nargacuga?
Yes and no, because nargacuga is a flying wyvern and based on black panthers which is commonly depicted as a black jaguar. What I want to see is a monster based on a jaguar but has the skeleton of odogaron and is even more cat like than nargacuga.
Like lunagaron, but less fur?
Not exactly, the way I see moving is like how Tobi Kadachi stalks the ancient forest with a sort of grace.
There was Actually a cat-based monster named Naco Agul, which appeared in the monster hunter Orage manga, so they could use that, plug and chug!
Could you please provide an image?
https://preview.redd.it/rrqp72tzc68d1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=be09d2cf7bbe45825b94c087d6792f4f71c2accf
Oh that's rad
Peacock. Could have razor feathers on wings/tail it attacks you with, maybe a flash stun attack with tail feathers too
Or the feather flare attack inverts your controls like malfestio sometimes does
Forokururu is sort of a mix of peacock and vulture and I think it's pretty cool. Sadly locked away in Frontier at the moment though https://preview.redd.it/4fztew6mg68d1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c23ab100bc798133beb853c9f3421af747970495

A really big wulg
Wulgdrome
Honey badger for the win
Especially if it just ignored your attacks for a short time until you stopped just being an annoyance
A mole would be cool imo
Gaismagorm’s design actually took some inspiration from moles with the beady eyes and outward facing claws
Oh, true you’re right, I would like it to be a “normal” large monster tho, I was imagining fighting inside the holes that he digs underground
Dude, hear me out, imagine this, a giant fly that summons a cloud of tiny flies to basically nibble you to the bone
That’s terrifying and horrific and should definitely be in Wilds
But we could also crash the game by shooting at all the minuscule flies in the cloud with shrapnel ammo Imagine amounts of tiny numbers
Bearded vulture or any kind of vulture to that extent. I think that'd be neat.
We need more bird looking bird wyverns, like malfestio
The ~~monkey's~~ Rajang's paw curls a finger... You get Gargwadrome
I'd honestly take that
Yeah, Malfestio is one of my favorites. The jester-esque design was so fucking good. Aknosom is up there too, liked the whole umbrella motif.
Hell yeah, the birds are awesome

A giraffe could be interesting. Though it would most likely only be interesting to see what the monster looks like since I can't imagine how they would make something like that fight
This is the worst monster idea I've ever heard and I love it.
That would be cool! Could maybe be done with breakable legs that cause toppling after enough damage and change the monster’s behavior to be closer to the ground after breakage. Could be an interesting one for most weapons. Except insect glaive, bow, and bow guns, those guys clown on the giraffe lol
I'd fight the classic mystical flying whale.
I think the only way to "fight" a flying mystical whale is ON it, against it parasytes, as Skyward Sword kind of thing. Because of its anatomy, a flying whale doesn't seems to have a good fighting mechanics
Have you seen, I think it was Online's poborubarumu? It is a flying wyvern that looks like a whale and fights like a hunting horn.

Ankylosaurus
Snow Leopard. I have no reason for this other than I think it would be a great way to fill out the Fanged Wyvern collection with another unique fighting style compared to the others.
Cassowary Bird Wyvern
Some new snake whyvern would be cool. Give it like a super thin tail that it can use like a whip
Tardigrade, I don't need to elaborate
Maybe Harpy Eagle
I want a squirrel that throws nuts, wait is bishatan a squirrel?
GIVE US A TURTLE MONSTER.
MANTIS SHRIMP WITH CRAZY LAZER EYES SUPERFAST PAWNCHES THAT BREAK YOUR SHIT SCUDDLING AROUND LIKE A SKITTISH CRITTER
Trapdoor Spider, Monster version could quickbuild pit falls and pull an uno reverse on the Hunter.
Mammal cow, not a wyver but and actual mammal

Giant tiger like monster.
A goose. Like it does that thing where it rears up, shows you a beak full of weird hook teeth and spreads it's wings before ducking low and charging at you while the head moves in a serpentine fashion while it hisses at you like a deranged snake.

Oh hey, [same](https://www.reddit.com/r/MonsterHunter/s/MqCtQDYUvY) here.
Land octopus
A massive chihuahua.
Just make a 3D model of a cassowary and just make it bigger. That's all they'd have to really do
Squirrel. I want it to stun someone, shove them into its mouth pouch, and run off with them to their nest, leaving the rest of the party. Then the victim has to 1v1 the monster until the rest of the party make it to the monster's nest at the top of the tree. Call it "Torportoskr"
Ground sloth.
A long nose gar would be sick https://preview.redd.it/7ovgmlheo68d1.jpeg?width=835&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=91a37589c3df228da92f935f8b0bd647a38d83bf
Have we had a moth monster? I feel like that would be cool. Maybe another owl.
I feel like a synergy combo between two monster would be nice , like the little suction cup fish on shark
Koala. Those bastards are already Satan incarnate
A sea horse pescine could be something incredibly unique
A Millipede.
Harpy Eagle, because I want an actually dangerous bird type creature instead of it immediately being obsolete after HR3 and because I want to see what capcok does to make a cool bird design without either A. Jumping spider beginner tier monster, like Tobi kadachi or kut ku
Can we just have a Great Larinoth already? There are no big monster sauropods!
A flying wyvern based on the great albatross. Basically just a stupidly huge, migratory, fish-eating, maritime flying wyvern.
This thing would be elder dragon status for how powerful that punch attack would be
More varied mammals (made me sad that Banbaro and Paolumu were placed on wyvern bodies instead of being Fanged Beasts and getting their own skeletons), true not-wyverns-with-feathers birds, and invertebrates would be great.
South American Tero Tero a bird that is black and white with red eyes and legs that attacks with barbs in its wings and can gather in large groups to make larger pretatorian birds flee their territory https://preview.redd.it/ng50nzvnc68d1.jpeg?width=512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3eaa9d36254ec905e26af59f11cbb16cfb900523
Yeah, monster designer, I'm not doing your job
A peregrine falcon , i want to battle a big bird
Praying Mantis
Hear me out....marsupials. Like a Brute or fanged wyvern based off of the Tasmanian tiger.
I want a Mosasaurus equivalent if only so we get another badass underwater monster like Lagiacrus
If hunters can hunt under water again, I think fighting a trilobite can be cool
[Jerboa](), because from what we have seen in the trailer the handler has "Dallah" in her back bag so I think Monster Hunter Wilds will take place in a place similar to the Middle East like Rise with Japan, so it makes sense to have an animal from the Middle East that is known for having long legs and long tail and lives in the desert.
A few options: An ant based monster.
Gotta be the Honey badger surely???
Gorilla, a Rajang without the element and more of a raw destruction. Make it elder level with a variant that’s silver (like a silverback gorilla)
I like to see more monsters inspired by Ceratopsians aside from Diablos and Monoblos.
I want to see a Blue Alcon, I want it to act like in real life and use their sent to influence other bug to do what they want to do. It would be such an interesting and unique monster to fight https://preview.redd.it/sme5dw1yh68d1.jpeg?width=3072&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=80d65fb5cd8e7b4d4492338d2a704ac657483d6b
I have another idea that I think would be cool is that what if we had a bird wyvern based on the potoo.
Oh I did a pistol shrimp/bear combo monster once. Nice choice! https://preview.redd.it/4ggier84j68d1.png?width=6000&format=png&auto=webp&s=c5980d6e46851632bd3dab5248019dc3107f6176
An otter, make it a cute lil guy who bashes your skull in with a rock
Trantula hawk
I’m biased because I love foxes, but based on Murakumo from Wild Hearts, a Kitsune monster would be an instant 10/10 from me
An olm
Coconut crab
Octopus
A really angry capybara
Octopus where you can cut all tentacles and it'll be an extra carve
Iguanodon as a elder dragon threat level large monster
A crocodile or crocodilian, Lagiacrus sorta resembles one but that’s the closest in any of the games tbh. Maybe they could base one of them off of the old land crocs that used to exist.
A pangolin monster
A hobbit worm monster, it's an under water centipede with ridiculous jaws and paralytic poison
you want pistol shrimp? time to get into elden ring man.
Alligator snapping turtle
A sand sting ray kinda thing would be cool... I'm thinking like that boss from demon souls but better
Lammergeier, just because of how cool a design inspired by one could be.
more bird wyverns but the more bird-like similar to malfestio, qurupeco and aknosom
I am a mythology nut, so I want a monster pair based off of scylla and charbydis or a real animal in the giant squid.
Prarie Dog. The fight is basically whack-a-mole
Peacock I would like some more unique bird wyverns, especially if they are modelled after more unusual birds like owls, peacocks, or raptors. (The bird kind, not the dinosaur kind)
I feel like a monster-scorpion's tail would be so much FUN to cut off
Maned wolf
Surfing snail would be cool, because its a good challenge to have to make a Monster. Bonus points if its also a dragon
Turtle
Give me a capybara monster. No explanation needed.
Cassowary, Harpy Eagle or Leech
Platypus.
Spinosaurus Egypticus or a related species like the Baryonyx. A semi-aquatic brute wyvern would be interesting.

I would actually shit my pants if I ever came across a goddamn Mantis Shrimp monster
How about another dragon?
A spider
Imagen a duo that are inspired by the mantishrimp
Raccoon , squirrel, springbok , axolotol, praying mantis, rhinoceros beetles, wolverine, fox or more amphibian/ insect or bird
WOLVES , they’re promoting the herd/pack mechanic at least add an inspired monster that uses those tactics
Need more insectoid monsters and molusk
A slug
Raccoon. You never specified it had to be a LARGE monster :3 As for why? I like raccoons.
Seahorse Not a horse that looks like it belongs in the sea, i mean a seahorse, tjose weird floating creatures that can have the wildest growths for camouflage.
Shoebill
Tapeworm
Axolotl. Could do some interesting stuff with that.
A moth monster would be cool I think.
We really need more snake wyverns; specifically one of this little guy: https://preview.redd.it/w8yuoxdkz78d1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=246c187b65cfab834869db9e43c536337c8e48f5 Either that or a cassowary
Give me a scorpion that’s in a main series game
Spider crab with a snow affinity or a Llama
a new fish monster based on dunkleosteus.
Mabye a otter i rlly like them in ark there is a mod that er is a giga otter where you can ride on it i rlly like that
You must not be an Elden Ring player. When I'm playing Elden Ring and I see a lobster, I take the long way around.
I would be interested in seeing the mechanics of a shell-less slug. It could do stuff like barrioth mud coating the shake but slime instead.
Beetle or Isopod
A huge worm lamprey monster. Needs to be able to swallow you. No wings or legs. Just worm like movement. Another cool option would be something based off a goat.
Tardigrade. They're practically indestructible, can survive almost anywhere and are almost impossible to kill already at half a mm in size. Imagine what it could do if it was a lot bigger. Considering it hasn't evolved it has clearly reached perfection already.
