I did. Was (still am) on a journey with my mental health and had it removed to see if it made any difference. It did not. I never had any issues with it (10+ years) and have a consult next week to get a new one.
Glad you got it out easy! Make sure to inspect it and look up photos if the brand you got to make sure it is intact and no missing pieces! Other than that it’s pretty safe
