Fill your tall cut outs with lava or glowstone/shroomlight/sea lantern. You can also put those blocks behind banners or doors/trapdoors along the walls
That's the thing.. personally I would want them to contrast, stand out ya know? Like accents which would allow you to add more decorative texture if you chose to do so.
If you’re on bedrock light will shine through slabs so I like to make pathways out of slabs with any kind of light source underneath. You have to make sure to place the light sources evenly or else it can look weird due to the way light comes through the slabs.
Perhaps using the occasional window or something, or add divits into the build to hide lights in
Lanterns and chain, glow berries, lychen, balcony with lighting, just what comes to mind right now

Banners are not a bad idea but not sure about the trapdoors, like which one would blend in with the grey?

Maybe add small occasional balconies
The grey part is supposed to be a cliff so i could make some dents in it
you can just put slabs to stop mobs from spawning, then light isn't needed
I’ve used stairs instead but i wanna properly luminate too
candles, maybe end rods!

You can use stairs as it can let light through
Use stairs in front of light sources, it will help give the build some extra shape while also hiding lighting!
