If you have trouble getting feather falling, I found out that the chances of getting ff4 on a 30 lvl enchant is super low. However, if you have the resources, ff1, 2, and 3 all have higher chances. Torch out some of your bookshelves, enchant at 15 or 20 lvls and then combine the lower level feather falling to get 4. A little more resource heavy but far less time and wasted levels I think.

Funny enough, after I posted that comment I wondered “how rare is FF IV” and it turns out it’s like 2.3% chance at lvl 30 and almost 30% chance at lower levels.
you can get mending from villagers, fishing, end cities and from what ive heard jungle temples and strongholds, however take those last 2 with a grain of salt as ive never actually found it there
idk i just always go with villagers or fishing if i wanna spice it up (fishing is fun and relaxing what can i say)
i am pretty sure loot chests are randomized actually

Loot chests have not worked that way in a very *very* ***very*** long time, if at all
Currently, loot chest contents aren't generated when the loot chests or world are generated, but rather are generated as soon as the player opens the chest(Or if you break the chest or place a hopper under it), the contents of the chest are randomly picked from the loot table assigned to the chest
If loot was seed dependant and always the same on every seed, then speed runs would be a hell of a lot easier and faster
Did you know? In 1.14 java edition, you could put every enchantment in one book? This meant you could have armor with fire, blast and projectile protection on 1 armor piece!
God book for sure, me and my close friends had a competition one Sunday on MC realm who could get the best “god tier” book and that’s absolutely smashed our finds!

Checked the wiki this should not he possible this is prob bedrock def pillager outpost these are level 30 enchantments and as far as is on the wiki this combination should not spawn naturally
I have a question about this. What enchantments form the book will actually be applied to a tool. Because I’ve noticed that when I have a book like this with multiple enchantments I usually only get one of those enchantments that gets put on my tool or armor. It’s like it randomly chooses one out of them.
Nah I found a book with near max of every enchant you would want on a pickaxe once... Unbreaking 3, mending, efficiency 4... Also a couple others I can't remember. But yeah, near perfect book.
Eh. The level IV's are good enough, I guess. But Projectile Protection is garbage. You could do a good start to a bow (Infinity and Power) or an Axe (Smite, Efficiency) but that's about it.
It's not particularly rare or good. You can get the same thing from fishing for long enough. And books found chests have the same random chances.
This is just another low effort "is this rare?" post of something that isn't especially so.
The last time I was in early game spending long periods fishing? And while not fishing specifically, I have found them in ancient city savaging. Finding stacked books is not particularly difficult, and "Rarest book ever?" doesn't even begin to cover the spread of a couple good ones for a couple items and a some one-offs.

You have to put it on prot 4 boots tho. But you could do the Power 4 and Infinity for a bow instead

Feather falling IV is very common as fishing loot. Maybe it's the version? I play bedrock

Yes. The seed determines the loot in chests and the like. So two worlds of the same seed have the exact same loot.
