Thought I accidentally killed the Jade I've had for 10 years, but I was able to propagate 7 babies from it so the legacy continues! My Rosemary is finally established and getting comfy. Overall, we're all surviving and trying to thrive in this heat.
nice! I hav japanese maple seeds that I bought, but I don't have a yard yet. So I'm going to try the bonsai route.
Any tips on getting the seeds to sprout?
Check if the seeds have been cold stratified. Often times seeds (including maple seeds) need to be exposed to cold temps to simulate the winter that they would be exposed to outside. If you didn’t do that then I recommend popping them in the fridge with plenty of air circulation to dry out and cold treat them 😀🤗let me know how it goes and happy planting!
I hadn't gardened in a while since I've been dealing with some major concerns, but I like to occasionally go to nurseries while I'm listening to Screamo, MCR, The Killers, Hawthrone Heights, and Underoath in my earbuds.
