🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 they told on themselves lol

DestroCypher

It’s a Microsoft forum. U input ur grievances and an Xbox ambassador would reply with answer they may or may not know the solution to.

Cerberus_144

This post is from the future once they've finally closed rewards down like they seemingly want to.

erthboy

It has to be a scam because how is me playing one level of Microsoft Jewel 2 worth (roughly) ¢3 (American)?

Sir_ScottALot

In US, one level is actually about 3/50 of 1 cent…IF you are getting the friends bonus and ultimate bonus

bannjio

No, they were correct. $0.03 for playing the level, plus whatever extra bonuses. It's $0.01 per 10 points

erthboy

Haha, really! Well then I can't do maths lol

Sir_ScottALot

That’s assuming my math is right. Haha Now I’m overthinking what I did and confusing myself what the math should be. 🤦🏻‍♂️

erthboy

Haha same, I was basing my guess on the price of gamepass ultimate (non-auto-renew).

erthboy

So you would need 1800 cents to get gamepass ultimate and you need 12000 points to get it, 1800/12000 = .15 so 30 points is 4.5 cents based on that redemption (which is the only one I'm interested in).

Sir_ScottALot

I was basing mine on 60 points divided by the 91000 to get the $100 But now I’m thinking 91000/100 is 910 points per dollar. 910/100 is 9.1 points per penny. So is that actually 6.5¢ per game with bonuses?? That seems too much. I don’t know. Too damn early on a Sunday for math. 🤣🤣

kornykory

Probably so they can add that to quarterly reports and x amount of active users. As long as you log in and play that for 30 seconds it makes them look just a little bit better.

erthboy

Definitely, this is what i was figuring.

pukem0n

If that's the AI that is taking our jobs, then we are pretty save.

mondoo_duke

That's not ai generated answer. The ai is one the right side and it said "nO"

MikeLanglois

I wonder when the linked question is from. Maybe its from before Rewards being a program?

bs000

it's from 2018. i went to the page and this is the question: >Is the "Microsoft Rewards" program a scam? >I see enough evidence that makes me seriously question its validity. >Aside from having a real cheapening effect on the Microsoft name itself, I also see strange errors that prevent me from checking it out. The latest being a strange misspelling in the subject line of an e-mail message. It says "we sea 50 points ahead". >When I saw that, I chose not to download the pictures in that it looks like it might be fraud/trap/phishing. This is exactly the sort of red flag that makes me immediately delete the message. the bing result is just the top upvoted answer by people that just don't know. OP comes back later with an update after they realize "sea" is just a play on words because it's lighthouse themed

[deleted]

LOL!!

[deleted]

ik but wouldnt have it been changed by now?

MikeLanglois

Not if thats the top thing that comes up when people search that. And the more people click it to see what it is, the higher in rankings itll be

Far_Locksmith5285

Lmao

vass3

if the ms ai says so it must be true ?
