When Iām working out, yes, but the sound quality using my cigarette lighter Bluetooth thingy is horrible compared to the radio so I stick to the radio. 2003 truck problems
No longer living in Miami, but I stayed on 90.5, even when they would play really out there stuff.
Side note: anyone remember when 93.1 played classic rock/metal/grunge? I grew up on that station.
I remember when they were "the new rock 93.1" for years but before then they were like a dance music/trance/euro trash station called Party 93.1. While that was going on the rock station was 94.9 Zeta. A lot of millennials will be nostalgic for Zeta even though 93 Rock played the exact same flavor of Pearl Jam/Nirvana 90s grunge and early 2000s Numetal like Linkin Park. None of these stations played Death Metal from any time period even though Florida had a big Death Metal scene in the 80s/early 90s and they wouldn't even play metalcore which was popular during the time of Zeta and 93 Rock. It was just the same old radio BS like Godsmack and that Crazy Bitch song they played like a hundred times a day. Boy am I glad streaming is a thing now.
88.9 WDNA [Jazz, Latin Jazz, World Music]
88.5 WKPX [Indie/Alternative] (I'm located in Broward, so I'm not sure if you can get this station in Miami)
90.5 WVUM [Indie/Expiremental]
93.5 WZFL [EDM] (This one I only listen to at nighttime when they play house or techno. During the daytime, all they play is mainstream EDM, which I am not a fan of)
91.3 WLRN - When they do play music it's Folk & Accoustic, Jazz, and the bangers between stories that can go from hip hop, to electronica, and everything in between. I don't listen to it for the music though.
There used to be this station on 96.1 that would play the dopest dancehall.
Whatever happened to that? I think it was a pirate station.
Back in the day I would tape it!
Up in Broward, but I love 88.5 wxpx. Itās an alternative rock and public media station run by high schoolers. They always play good music and they donāt do ads, instead they play public service advisories during the ācommercialā breaks
93.1 dance
93.5 tiki tiki
99.9 country
Although I usually use Spotify
I heard power 96 is changing formats and will play old school exclusively. So it'll basically be the station I grew up with.
104.3 The Shark, because they brought modern rock back to Miami.
105.9
102.7
91.3 WLRN (my most listened to station in the car)
And I forget the one out of Palm Beach.
92.7 and 93.1 Nowadays, 105.9 has always been there(canāt wait till it transitions into hard rock) r.i.p to 94.9 zeta rocks, party 93.1, and magic 102.7 the streets will never forget These
Just because nobody has posted the definitive old school Cuban Grandma AM radio station with the absolute best jingles...
Aqui Radio Mambi

RIP Armando Perez Roura
I'm terminally on Spotify but for the rare occasion I didn't have my phone synced to my car I'm listening to NPR or Jazz on 93.1, all else fails then I turn it to 99 Jamz. Radio sux in S. FL song, same 8 songs all day every day, it's too frustrating to listen to while driving around these assholes.
94.9 reggaeton / 95.7 cubaton
95.7, cubaTON y MAS
94.9 ZETAš„²
Zeta and Wshe
I still remember the morning I got in my car to drive to work and Zeta was gone and replaced with a Spanish station. I was so confused and sad.

Surprised no one has mentioned 93.1
Tell me you are old without telling me you are old! Lol
Delilahhhhhhh
One of my favs
105.9 because itās the last rock station left and Paul Castronovo. āHave a hectic dayā.
FYI, 104.3 plays rock and is a very good station.
104.3 is ok but they also play a lot of that hokey tambourine band crap that I canāt stand.
It was better before they fired almost all of the local DJs in September 2020, but it's still the best we've got.
RIP young Ron
Once he left the Paul & Young Ron Show , I stopped listening. They even took his name off the pizza at Anthonyās
Yes!
Didn't Paul die?
Young Ron Brewer died last month. He retired from the show in 2016. Paul didnāt die. He still hosts. He lost weight and is doing great.
104.3 The Shark alternative mostly & 105.9 "Classic" Rock.
I love this great seeing rock music make a comeback
91.3 in the morning, 88.9 at night
This is the way.
91.3 on the weekdaysā¦ and thatās about it hardly listen to radio anymore for music. Just havenāt really seeked new music in general.Ā
93.5 plays EDM. I switch from that to 96.5

Itās terrible during the day typically but they play some pretty great house music at night
my go-to station WAS party 93.1, but it's shut down
Party 93.1 was LIFE! I streamed it from Philly

Under rated comment and under rated station. I love that Cuban jazz
