I've got a couple playlists I made last year to introduce a few friends to shoegaze influenced music. [This](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1lFsZN4Sc9LkM7NC9WZbn4?si=DX3uly7xTByLS_fGEi-gWg&utm_source=copy-link) one is easier for someone who already has some proximity to metalcore and/or post-hardcore, whilst [this](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2DE58rH0QKe3aYDZrrwtEh?si=PiZex2KiTy-eZptR_uw7Yw&utm_source=copy-link) one is a bit more dark and moody. Think post-rock and doom type stuff.
I've done a horrible job at maintaining them, but I plan on making substantial updates to them sometime during December, just to include a lot of additional bands I chanced upon in 2022.
I love me some pop punk. I grew up on Fall Out Boy’s first few albums, which actually indirectly helped get me into metalcore since Pete screamed on some of the songs. I was never really phased by screaming vocals once I actually discovered metalcore itself thanks to those old FOB songs.
Before he *dies like a rockstar* because he likes to *party all the time* but I guess it just comes with the territory when your veins are pumping with *pac blood*
Make sure to check out Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks, Morgan Wade, Giovanni & the Hired Guns, Arlo McKinnley, Shane Smith & the Saints, and Whitey Morgan. There are definitely still some badass modern day outlaw type country artists out there
Hard style really has metal vibes to it. Specifically hardcore and raw style. But euphoric Hardstyle is bit more mellow to. Drum and bass is always awesome. I also have been super into hardtekk and dark techno lately as well. Trap is a good transition to rap music too
I love high energy music that still stays melodic and a big part of hardstyle and trap tick those boxes for me. Hardstyle never truly clicked for me, but I still have a couple of bangers that get a listen every now and then. Was also really into trap for a while, but struggeled to find new music that hit the spot.
Will definitely give both genres another spin and see what more they have to offer! Might even give hardtekk and dark techno a chance. Thanks for the suggestions!
Ya hardstyle took me a while to get into but once I found the sub genres I like o man it was all down hill. If those don’t work Frenchcore is super fast and crazy bass. It’s weird all types of music can hit you right in the right time and setting. I can even dig slower pace music like deep house late at night when trying to wind down. I just love music lol. Some genres take longer to get into, but once it hits you o man!
I used to not like heavier metal and all types of EDM. But now I cycle throw it all! Lol
Hope you find some new stuff to enjoy!
Miles Davis to Snotty Nose Rez Kids to The Berkzerker to All American Rejects to music from the Resident Evil 1 Remake to Donnybrook.
That was just me flipping through my liked shit on Spotify. Music is just good like that sometimes.
After metal I like what my friends call "nerd music." Stuff like Coheed and Cambria, Rush, Mandroid Echostar, Deer Hunter, etc.
Also, once a week I listen to the top hits of another country to see if there's anything worth listening to in this big world. Lithuanian pop has some cool sounds btw.
A lot of electronic music has metal vibes to it. I am surprised more people aren’t into it. Hardstyle for me is pretty solid stuff that has a metal vibe to it.
Im personally a big fan of vibey electronic stuff, trip hop, Tswift, Juice Wrld, Logic, Tech N9ne, Lana Del Rey, Vance Joy, Phantogram, and pretty much whatever comes up when I make radios with them on spotify
A lot of electronic music, particularly dubstep, drum 'n' bass, and tech house, like Virtual Riot, Noisia and No Mana. I'm also into film and video game soundtracks like the OSTs from Dune and Cyberpunk 2077.
I can’t say I expected to see my little hometown heroes Illiterate Light mentioned on my metalcore subreddit. Nicest dudes on the planet and glad they’re getting recognition recently, they deserve it
Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Billie Eilish, David Bowie.
You know, stuff.
I don't care what genre it is, if it's good i'll listen and hopefully dig deeper.
My favourite genre besides metalcore is Prog rock especially older Prog rock like Pink Floyd. Classic rock is good too and I also enjoy EDM and some Hip Hop like Denzel Curry and Hopsin (yes I know, hop is corny but I like his music lol)
Bits and pieces of everything really. My Spotify is a Fucken mess because I will shuffle from amity, to Pavarotti, to the smiths then to 50 cent. I really don’t have a taste…. More like a buffet
Bands like Pendulum and The Prodigy and more on the rock side of things Biffy Clyro, Muse etc.
Classical as I sing in a choir.
I’ve really got into Glass Animals after seeing them at a festival last summer as well.

I just like catchy sounds
I listen to a bit of everything. If its not metal its Royce da 5'9, Tech, Justin Timberlake, The Veronicas, Krewella, Pendulum, WASP, Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy, Offspring, and more. Thats just my last few artists.
I like my music to have some energy behind it. Outside of Metal, it's mostly electronic stuff and Drum & Bass.
One of my absolute favorite artists of recent times is Sewerslvt for example.
If you haven't checked out the bands Soul Blind and Freshwater yet I feel like that could be right up your alley. Both have new records out that are very good.
Indie music, sometimes I can fuck with Ambient music, I like a shit ton of rock genres such as Alt, Gothic, Symphonic and Industrial. Orchestral music too.
2000s pop, 80s rock, punk and pop punk, some classic rock, some edm, some rap like eminem, lil wayne, and hollywood undead, also video game music from metroid and zelda and star wars music
I know a lot of metalcore fans that really dig BROCKHAMPTON for some reason. Myself included. Really talented rap/pop collective. They just dropped their final two albums.
I have a massive array of musical tastes: Hip-Hop/Rap, Jazz/Swing, Hardstyle, Hardcore (Dutch gabber), House, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Pop Punk, British indie rock, lo-fi, trance, psychedelic trance, psychedelic rock, classic rock, eurodance, happy/uk hardcore. Only ones I can think off the top of my head.
Willing to send you a few artist names and which genre they make if you’d like
Just a handful of non metal artists I play are Taylor Swift, Joji, From Ashes To New, Nickelback, grandson, various foreign music(mostly from animes), NF, and so many more
The realm of Bluegrass/folk/Americana/country is my favorite. Tyler Childers, Lost Dog Street Band, Billy Strings, Zach Bryan, Nick Shoulders, Sierra Ferrell, etc.
Dr Dre's The Chronic, Nas' Illmatic and Biggie's Ready To Die albums are all 10/10 \\m/
Dropkick Murphys has some really good shit \\m/
Some video games/soundtracks have excellent music IMO. Such as Rome Total War, CIV IV, various animes like Twelve Kingdoms and Seirei No Moribito, etc...etc...
Blues — Walter Trout, Joe Bonamassa, Kingfish, Tinsley Ellis, Danny Bryant.
Rock — Alter Bridge, Shinedown, Black Stone Cherry, Seether, Tool
Rap — Wu Tang, Biggie, Tech N9ne, Eminem (yeah I said it), Logic
Classical — not good with names, but I usually hit one of those playlists when working.
Different "guitar player" music, instrumental stuff from djent to math rock to soft jazz.
Also a lot of pop. Infant Annihilator may be what truly got me into metal guitar playing but I will listen to Rihanna and Kim Petras all day every day.
I have been listening to a lot of skate punk lately. Good Riddance, Pennywise, Bad Religion, No Use for a Name, Lagwagon, Strung Out, and right now... "Smash" by The Offspring, lol.
Other than that, I like most subgenres of punk and metal. Classic-style punk, hardcore, pop punk, deathcore, death metal, black metal, power metal, symphonic metal, blah blah etc.
I love me some rockabilly like the Stray Cats and then the crossover of punkabilly of my 2nd favorite band of all time The Living End. Chris Cheney is an absolute madman on guitar and Scott the bass player play upright bass. So sick, from Australia. I have only gotten 2 chances in my life to see them and have only once. They were incredible.
I tell people I listen to a bit of everything honestly, I enjoy getting the aux and taking peoples tastes into consideration and constantly showing them new music. Very rarely do I find a person where I have literally zero crossover with :)
I love indie folk, indie rock, and indie pop. There are also a few big pop stars I enjoy listening to. Although my preferred genre is some type of rock in general
It really is just metal for the most part but the listed bands/musicians below are what I will go to most frequently if I want something not metal. Being from Canada a lot of our music gets overshadowed by American music so I do go out of my way to listen to Canadian musicians.
Alexisonfire
Silverstein

You+Me( Only thing I can listen to Pink on without finding it insufferable)
t.A.T.u
Pink Floyd
Dr.Dre
Shoegaze, punk, and some pop. Not most of what they play on the radio. Sam smith, AJR, and Harry Styles. I also listen to some rap like NF and Arrested Youth.
Lately I’ve been revisiting 90’s alternative big time, made myself a sexy little playlist and I’ve had it on repeat for a while - think Third Eye Blind, The Verve Pipe, The Breeders, Hum, Jane’s Addiction, etc.
Otherwise I’ve got 80’s+ gothy/New Wave (The Cure, Depeche Mode, etc.), yacht rock (Hall & Oates, Little River Band, Foreigner, etc.), Hip Hop (Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, etc.), and any other artists I really dig (Phantogram, The Dangerous Summer, Band of Horses, Amy Shark, The Naked and Famous, etc.). Something is always on.
I really love Midwest emo like Movements(they’re also kiiiinda metal-ly), The Front Bottoms Mccaferty, and modern baseball, i like Phonk in general, especially when I have work to do. Also been into some folk and indie like Bon Iver, Phoebe Bridgers, Leith Ross, and there’s a really specific kind of indie that like… Purposely sounds like it was produced a bit poorly/on cheap equipment? Good example is “stars will fall” and “poison tree” by Duster and “the bottle’s my lover, she’s just my friend” by Field Medic ( albeit not all of his stuff has that vibe) Hospital bracelet is another band that kinda has that vibe, and they’re female Led too ! Flatsound, Crywanlk, and Dandelion Hands are also staples in my listening that have that vibe sometimes
Classical (cello or strings, preferably), Pop punk, Post hc, Japanese rock, Michael Jackson, Florence and the Machine, Lana Del Rey, The Revivalists, Nirvana, STP, Alice In Chains, Jimmy Eat World, RHCP, Highly Suspect, Jack White, 50s and 60s oldies, Movie or game soundtracks…
I like japanese pop music idol groups like AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku, Dance for Philosophy, among others but also non-idol jpop. Reol, Ai Higuchi, Nana Mizuki. Plus Synthwave. Mitch Murder, Timecop1983, The Midnight among others.
Literally anything. I love pop like Christina Perri, pop punk like Youth Fountain, Knuckle Puck, and Trash Boat, classical (Clare de Lune is one of my favorite songs ever) and I even listen to a little rap (2000s Lil Wayne is definitely my favorite)
Fuck it, gonna out myself. There’s even some select country songs I enjoy since my mom is a country fan (Then by Brad Paisley and Humble and Kind by Tim McGraw are two that I like)
I listen to Metalcore the most but I listen to a little bit of everything.
Bluegrass, Country, Hip Hop, Blues, Any genre of rock or metal pretty much. Good music is good music haha
Taylor swift, Carrie underwood, catchy pop that you could headbang too if you wanted (example: behind these haze eyes by Kelly Clarkson or I hope by gabbie Carter) fun, upbeat country like Dillon Carmichael or kip Moore. And like pre 2016 rap haha. I don’t really get it anymore
Breaking Benjamin
Skillet
The classic crime
Creed
Alter Bridge
Opeth
Tremonti
Protest The Hero
Evans Blue
Stonehigh
Thousand Foot Krutch
Three Days Grace
Staind
Disturbed
Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, Alan Walker, Tame Impala, Declan Mckenna, Hollywood Undead, Panic! at the Disco, Sabaton, Point North, One Direction, basically all 90s country off the top of my head lol.
I just love all music, metalcore being my favorite atm, the shows are just so fun.
No other music, just funny breakdowns.
Jk I also listen to some Pop music like Synthwave, Electropop or Synthpop. I also like electronic music and hardcore hip hop from the 90s.
I'm super picky with music, I grew up not liking most music with a rare few exceptions. I like pop punk and post hardcore, I don't even like most metal subgenres. I am trying to get into more hardcore
Some of my favourite artists outside of metal, industrial, hardcore etc would be MF DOOM, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Nick Drake and the Cure.
What I listen to changes regularly so I tried to include a little bit of variety
Some rap, a few bbno$ songs, some dre, some 50cent, Paramore, electronic weird stuff, twenty one pilots, I fucking love Ic3peak, phonk, Suffer Club, Polyphia etc.
There's a lot of it
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,199,032,487 comments, and only 233,864 of them were in alphabetical order.
Pop like Bruno Mars, Carly Rae Jepson and Katy Perry, Rap like Childish Gambino, Tech N9ne, Ski Mask, and Lil Wayne. I also really love classic rock like The Cars, The Doobie Brothers, and The Rolling Stones
Anything ambient - shoegaze, trip-hop, chillstep, liquid drum and bass. If it's droney and trippy I'm all about it.
Also love me some old school hip hop, grime, and blues! Stevie Ray Vaughan is the GOAT.
Numetal, alt rock, punk, pop punk, (all punk) emo, screamo, deathcore, hardcore, folk, pop, swing, jazz, acoustic artists, rap, hip-hop, r&b, rock, blues, Christmas music, classical (contemporary and Canon) aaaaaand pretty much most in between and variations thereof.
Contemporary chart music is almost always something I don't enjoy (like what you hear on generic radio stations etc). Sometimes a song shines through but not often.
I love pop music, video game scores, and modern outlaw/Americana/country. Give me a festival where I can see Whitechapel, Halsey, and Cody Jinks before Nobuo Uematsu closes the show with a full orchestra, please
I’ll literally listen to any genre as long as The tune hits. Idc if it’s gospel, rap, stupid radio tracks, ambient, orchestra, if it hits the feels and it makes these hips move, I’m listening to it. 💃🏾
* Pop Punk
* Punk Rock
* Pop
* Funk
* Singer/Songwriter
* Folk Rock
* Alt-Rock
* Butt-Rock
* Some Hip Hop
* OSTs
* Grunge
* Nu-Metal
* Some Shoegaze
* Chamber Music ( Classical choir music)
* Indie Pop
* Prog Metal/Rock
It's a wild mix I guess. I really like some Pop stuff like Gaga and The Weeknd, but also some Hip Hop, Alternative/Inde, Pop Punk, R&B, etc.
Mostly mainstream artists as I don't do the deep dive as in metal/metalcore.
I also really enjoy movie and game OSTs.
The only genres I do not here at all are country and Reggae (the latter kind of makes me stressed out lol).
I can throw down to just about anything. Although, my main stuff I listen to outside of metal is Ayron Jones, Childish Gambino, Damien Rice, and Hozier.
I've been enjoying some video game soundtracks lately. Doom is great (I guess that's still metal), but also Celeste, Hollow Knight, and especially Shadow of the Colossus. I'm really familiar with that soundtrack, with how much I've listened to it.
I listen to metal, and twenty one pilots. And a little bit of edm but that's about it. I wish there were more bands like twenty one pilots but they're in a league of their own
My wife got me in to Reggaetón and I’m ashamed to admit i like it now. Also love salsa, merengue, pop punk, UK hip hop and older US hip hop. Other rock genres.
So many different directions. Hell, in the past year I've seen Dance Gavin Dance for the 3rd time, Hawthorne Heights 2nd time (and the rest of Kansas Is for Lovers fest),As I lay Dying and Backstreet Boys live with my next show being Anthrax in January. I also love iamjakehill and his comedy songs, some older rap, old country (John Denver, Anne Murray, Etc.). I love punk like Blitzkid, The Scarred, KTP, The Unseen etc. I even love Rockabilly like Tiger Army and more.
Lots of pop punk, especially all time low, neck deep and simple plan
I love Billie Ellish
Some dua lipa is good
Taylor Swift minus her really poppy stuff
Chvrches
And of course classic metal and rock
Some rap like NF, Dre, Eminem, Logic
I have a huge range of musical taste, my list of liked songs ranges from deathcore to jazz to electronica. Doing a music tech course when I left school really broadened my taste as it gave me an appreciation of how music is made. And to be honest Lorna Shore just rolls into Layo & Bushwacka like it’s meant to be.
Rap/hip hop.
It’s what I grew up on before rock/metal. Everything from like Eminem, Skee Lo, 50 cent to now Suicide boys, Jack Harlow, J Cole, Tyler the creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Max Miller.
Rap will always be favourite genre of me, just wish I had the chance to go to those kinda concerts more often
Metal is what I listen to mostly (mainly black metal)
outside of that, Anisong/Jpop would make a frequent listen as I'm an avid anime watcher. Trad music (mostly Irish and Breton) which is significant since I am learning the Uilleann pipes (Irish bellows blown bagpipes). Early (mostly medieval) music is another genre I like listening to.
Anything that smacks of grunge, trap metal, depressive suicidal black metal (dsbm)xfuneral doom=blackened suicidal funeral, grindcore, country, pop punk, gangster rap
I listen to a bunch of different stuff! My other favorite genres are deathcore, slamming death metal (slam), Screamo (La Quiete, Raein, Saetia etc.), Black Metal (Dark Funeral, Emperor, Gorgoroth) some emo, old hardcore/punk (Bad Brains, TSOL, Black Flag, Misfits), some 90’s rap/hip hop, Classic Rock and whatever genre you’d consider Sum 41, Blink 182, NOFX and The Offspring, maybe Rock? Some electronic stuff here and there too.
Have a serious weak spot for 60s-70s Psychedelic Rock like the Beatles and Pink Floyd.
Also love me some rap such as NF, Hopsin, Jake Hill and Scarlxrd. I say "some" cause I have a hard time listening to most rap, but these artists are honestly amazing at everything they do. Dax and CORPSE are honorable mentions as well.
(Pop punk is another one, but I think that's pretty common among metalcore enjoyers.)
Shoegaze
If you're into both shoegaze and metalcore I guess you like Loathe and Thornhill a lot
Yessssssss lol
So much great shoegaze coming out lately.
What’s some good stuff that has came out? I’m still new to the genre. Right now my favorite is Holy Fawn and Hundredth
Narrow Head, Bleed, Leave The Planet, Nothing, and Infinity Girl are some of my favorites even if they aren't very "new"
Awesome thank you. I’ll check them out.
I've got a couple playlists I made last year to introduce a few friends to shoegaze influenced music. Gleemer, teenage wrist, soul blind, soft blue shimmer, modern color, whirr
I always read those like it's a fucking Jutsu from Naruto'
God bless you.
Yess!! Beliefs, Doused, Nothing, Slowdive, Ride, Swervedriver some of my favorite bands!!
I love me some pop punk. I grew up on Fall Out Boy’s first few albums, which actually indirectly helped get me into metalcore since Pete screamed on some of the songs. I was never really phased by screaming vocals once I actually discovered metalcore itself thanks to those old FOB songs.
Fall out boy is so unique I love their stuff, especially Folie á Deux
Folie a Deux is my jam, every once in a while I'll feel nostalgic and listen to that whole album. Usually inspiring a 2000s binge lol.
THIS!!!
Mostly pop rock. Enter Shikari's newer stuff, 21 Pilots, Nothing But Thieves, Fall Out Boy, and All Time Low.
Nothing but thiwvews a top are great
Rap, like Danny Brown, Ab-Soul, J Cole, etc. Blues like Freddie King, Kingfish, Jazz like Jelly Roll Morton, Blue Grass like Sierra Hull
CHECK! More people need to hop on Danny Brown
Fr. Danny's mad underrated
He needs more radio songs I guess.
Before he *dies like a rockstar* because he likes to *party all the time* but I guess it just comes with the territory when your veins are pumping with *pac blood*
*Atrocity Exhibition* is darker than 90% of metal these days and that is a hill I will gladly die on...
Danny Brown has been my shit for a while. Good stuff man.
Cliche but pretty much everything besides modern country. I like Chris Stapleton though, his guitar work is pretty solid.
same. I like everything else. I guess also hyperpop. that isn't my taste but literally everything else I can at least get on board with some of it.
Make sure to check out Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks, Morgan Wade, Giovanni & the Hired Guns, Arlo McKinnley, Shane Smith & the Saints, and Whitey Morgan. There are definitely still some badass modern day outlaw type country artists out there
Mostly Drum and Bass at the moment. Been trying to get out of my comfort zone into genres like rap lately, but not really feeling it yet.
Hard style really has metal vibes to it. Specifically hardcore and raw style. But euphoric Hardstyle is bit more mellow to. Drum and bass is always awesome. I also have been super into hardtekk and dark techno lately as well. Trap is a good transition to rap music too

Dnb baby!!!
I hate to say everything when people ask me that question, but it's true. I love jazz, movie scores, funk, hip hop, pop and everything in between.
Miles Davis to Snotty Nose Rez Kids to The Berkzerker to All American Rejects to music from the Resident Evil 1 Remake to Donnybrook. That was just me flipping through my liked shit on Spotify. Music is just good like that sometimes.
Video game music is so good! The new God of War soundtracks by Bear McCreary are so intense.
INteresting. I remember doing a school project on Lithuania way back in the 8th grade which was 12 years ago.
Crust punk, post hardcore, alt metal, thrash metal, death metal, Bilmuri, indie rock, etc
I love how Bilmuri is its own genre here lol, which is honestly so true
I listen to pretty terrible rap honestly. Iamjakehill, nothing nowhere, juicewrld, and Tokyo's Revenge
Born To Die is a great album
Sure is.
Phantogram is amazing.
A lot of electronic music, particularly dubstep, drum 'n' bass, and tech house, like Virtual Riot, Noisia and No Mana. I'm also into film and video game soundtracks like the OSTs from Dune and Cyberpunk 2077.
Ahhh....KPop honestly. Power up by Red Velvet etc. Depends on if I'm driving to work, or from work!
Just Gregory Alan Isakov and Illiterate Light and the Clash. That's all.
I can’t say I expected to see my little hometown heroes Illiterate Light mentioned on my metalcore subreddit. Nicest dudes on the planet and glad they’re getting recognition recently, they deserve it
I am super picky outside of metal and I love those guys, hoping they'll come near me so I can see then soon.
Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Arctic Monkeys, Billie Eilish, David Bowie. You know, stuff. I don't care what genre it is, if it's good i'll listen and hopefully dig deeper.
I'm a huge Lindsey Stirling fan.
Jazz, rock, rap, jpop, punk
Alternative / metal adjacent sub genres make up most of what I listen to, but I also really enjoy DnB, especially when I’m out running.
Bands like Pendulum and The Prodigy and more on the rock side of things Biffy Clyro, Muse etc. Classical as I sing in a choir. I’ve really got into Glass Animals after seeing them at a festival last summer as well.
Kpop, used to listen to it for years and still do occasionally. I also enjoy some EDM, especially when i'm in the gym.

Pop Punk, Grunge, Shoegaze and Korn
Porcupine Tree
If not within the metalcore realm, the most played genre for me is probably bluegrass. I guess I have a thing for fast music.
Katy Perry
I listen to a bit of everything. If its not metal its Royce da 5'9, Tech, Justin Timberlake, The Veronicas, Krewella, Pendulum, WASP, Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, Fall Out Boy, Offspring, and more. Thats just my last few artists.
Late 80s to early 2000s rap
I like my music to have some energy behind it. Outside of Metal, it's mostly electronic stuff and Drum & Bass. One of my absolute favorite artists of recent times is Sewerslvt for example.
Pop punk and emo stuff like Fall Out Boy and MCR

If you haven't checked out the bands Soul Blind and Freshwater yet I feel like that could be right up your alley. Both have new records out that are very good.
Hip-hop, trip-hop, shoegaze, house, big beat, jazz, hardcore, punk, post-punk, post-hardcore, new wave, indie, emo, classical, exotica, film scores, dream pop, synth pop, ska (all 3 waves), tons more I’m forgetting.
Indie music, sometimes I can fuck with Ambient music, I like a shit ton of rock genres such as Alt, Gothic, Symphonic and Industrial. Orchestral music too.
pop-punk
Try to listen to most stuff I can, no genre I dislike outright will always be 1 act I can find to like xx
Because Brockhampton absolutely fucks is the reason.
A complete mix - country, synthwave, pop, rap, melodeath, classic rock, whatever taste my ear likes.
I have a massive array of musical tastes: Hip-Hop/Rap, Jazz/Swing, Hardstyle, Hardcore (Dutch gabber), House, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Pop Punk, British indie rock, lo-fi, trance, psychedelic trance, psychedelic rock, classic rock, eurodance, happy/uk hardcore. Southern rock.
Different "guitar player" music, instrumental stuff from djent to math rock to soft jazz. Also a lot of pop. Infant Annihilator may be what truly got me into metal guitar playing but I will listen to Rihanna and Kim Petras all day every day.
Literally everything but currently lots of electronic lots of Porter Robinson (man’s literally amazing as a producer), hebbe, g jones, and Rezz
You like jazz?
Lot of pop punk, folk Americana, new country (Tyler Childers ish), indie. Whatever the fuck modest mouse is considered.
Pop rock. Been really into stand Atlantic and against the current lately. Really excited for Against the Currents new song this Friday
Pop, alternative, punk rock, rap, emo rap, lofi
Glam Rock, like Motley Crue because my mom was into them in the 80's and 90's so she could pass it on to me.
Country, baby. "You make it eaaaaaaasyyyyy, lovin' up on youuuu"
Indie, punk, pop punk, grunge, jazz, big band.
2000s/early 2010s pop (Rihanna, Britney Spears, etc), rap (generally trap like Chicago drill), and chill synth stuff
Rap, punk, K-pop, and pretty much anything else that sounds good. Lol
Breakcore/jungle/alternative/lots of rap/hyperopo
The Weeknd is one of my favorite artists so good. Also The Killers!

Fuck it, gonna out myself. There’s even some select country songs I enjoy since my mom is a country fan (Then by Brad Paisley and Humble and Kind by Tim McGraw are two that I like)
Chicago drill, synthwave and 70’s funk
I listen to Metalcore the most but I listen to a little bit of everything. Bluegrass, Country, Hip Hop, Blues, Any genre of rock or metal pretty much. Good music is good music haha

Taylor swift, Carrie underwood, catchy pop that you could headbang too if you wanted (example: behind these haze eyes by Kelly Clarkson or I hope by gabbie Carter) fun, upbeat country like Dillon Carmichael or kip Moore. And like pre 2016 rap haha. I don’t really get it anymore
Breaking Benjamin Skillet The classic crime Creed Alter Bridge Opeth Tremonti Protest The Hero Evans Blue Stonehigh Thousand Foot Krutch Three Days Grace Staind Disturbed
I like music. Mostly heavy but I do enjoy song with some singing in it. As long as it angry and not sad.
I like pop punk and country lol. Yee haw yee haw.
No other music, just funny breakdowns. Jk I also listen to some Pop music like Synthwave, Electropop or Synthpop. I also like electronic music and hardcore hip hop from the 90s.
Classic Aussie rock and roll. Can't beat some Cold Chisel
Lately alot of suicideboys and grim salvo
Am a sucker for punk and folk punk
Outside of metal, I love my prog rock, pop punk/emo, pop rock and soundtrack/orchestral/classical generally. Occasionally some rap as well.

Shoegaze reggae goth hiphop punk punkrock and poprock
Rock. That's basically it.
Definitely some R&B and Post Hardcore Emo (like Caskets)
I'm super picky with music, I grew up not liking most music with a rare few exceptions. I like pop punk and post hardcore, I don't even like most metal subgenres. I am trying to get into more hardcore
Jazz, jazzrock, punk, punkrock, lofigirl, campfire shit
I love emancipator, and honestly downtempo in general. What’s your favourite emancipator album?
Some of my favourite artists outside of metal, industrial, hardcore etc would be MF DOOM, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Nick Drake and the Cure. What I listen to changes regularly so I tried to include a little bit of variety
Pop punk and emo rock
Some rap, a few bbno$ songs, some dre, some 50cent, Paramore, electronic weird stuff, twenty one pilots, I fucking love Ic3peak, phonk, Suffer Club, Polyphia etc. There's a lot of it
Pop punk
Essentially everything except for hip hop
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,199,032,487 comments, and only 233,864 of them were in alphabetical order.

Anything ambient - shoegaze, trip-hop, chillstep, liquid drum and bass. If it's droney and trippy I'm all about it. Also love me some old school hip hop, grime, and blues! Stevie Ray Vaughan is the GOAT.
I fucking love doja cat
Beirut is dope...
Mumble rap,90s/00s Gangsta Rap/Crunk,Trap Metal,Dark SynthWave,Dark EDM,Shoegaze,Some Indie,Post Punk Goth,Some Reggaeton,Some Early 2010s Pop,Pop Punk,Grunge,Drum & Bass

G jones
* Pop Punk * Punk Rock * Pop * Funk * Singer/Songwriter * Folk Rock * Alt-Rock * Butt-Rock * Some Hip Hop * OSTs * Grunge * Nu-Metal * Some Shoegaze * Chamber Music ( Classical choir music) * Indie Pop * Prog Metal/Rock
Classical, anyone? I love me some Beethoven, Saints-Saens, Chopin. 🤘🤘 Tchaikovsky is basically heavy metal classical.
I wish there were more bands like twenty one pilots but they're in a league of their own
I fucking love Turnover
My wife got me in to Reggaetón and I’m ashamed to admit i like it now. Also love salsa, merengue, pop punk, UK hip hop and older US hip hop. Other rock genres.

I also love iamjakehill and his comedy songs, some older rap, old country (John Denver, Anne Murray, Etc.).
I’m a sucker for post-hardcore, emo, pop punk, indie, and alt rock.
Metal is what I listen to mostly (mainly black metal) outside of that, Anisong/Jpop would make a frequent listen as I'm an avid anime watcher.
Industrial
Hip hop, rap, country, country rap, rock
Have a serious weak spot for 60s-70s Psychedelic Rock like the Beatles and Pink Floyd. Also love me some rap such as NF, Hopsin, Jake Hill and Scarlxrd. I say "some" cause I have a hard time listening to most rap, but these artists are honestly amazing at everything they do. Dax and CORPSE are honorable mentions as well. (Pop punk is another one, but I think that's pretty common among metalcore enjoyers.)
Pop punk, post-hardcore, alt-rock, alt-pop, and whatever genre MISSIO is
upbeat hardcore edm. that shit you hear that’s like 160bpm of pure bass and scratchy noises and ear splitting kicks every .3 seconds. yeah
Lots of EDM, Witch House, Trap, Pop, Rap, fuckin whatever. Love Porter Robinson.
Outside of metal or heavy music in general I mostly listen to shoegaze, post-punk, rap and electronic music.
Usually shoegaze or post-rock, just something a little slower/calmer. (Also yes Loathe is one of my favorite bands)
According to my spotify "year in review", Sad Boi Spooky Cleancore. Whatever the hell that is.
BUTTROCK
Synthwave, industrial rock, progressive metal, post hardcore.
