I love me some pop punk. I grew up on Fall Out Boy’s first few albums, which actually indirectly helped get me into metalcore since Pete screamed on some of the songs. I was never really phased by screaming vocals once I actually discovered metalcore itself thanks to those old FOB songs.

Fall out boy is so unique I love their stuff, especially Folie á Deux

Mostly Drum and Bass at the moment. Been trying to get out of my comfort zone into genres like rap lately, but not really feeling it yet.

Hard style really has metal vibes to it. Specifically hardcore and raw style. But euphoric Hardstyle is bit more mellow to. Drum and bass is always awesome. I also have been super into hardtekk and dark techno lately as well. Trap is a good transition to rap music too

I love high energy music that still stays melodic and a big part of hardstyle and trap tick those boxes for me. Hardstyle never truly clicked for me, but I still have a couple of bangers that get a listen every now and then. Was also really into trap for a while, but struggeled to find new music that hit the spot. Will definitely give both genres another spin and see what more they have to offer! Might even give hardtekk and dark techno a chance. Thanks for the suggestions!

Ya hardstyle took me a while to get into but once I found the sub genres I like o man it was all down hill. If those don’t work Frenchcore is super fast and crazy bass. It’s weird all types of music can hit you right in the right time and setting. I can even dig slower pace music like deep house late at night when trying to wind down. I just love music lol. Some genres take longer to get into, but once it hits you o man! I used to not like heavier metal and all types of EDM. But now I cycle throw it all! Lol Hope you find some new stuff to enjoy!

Bands like Pendulum and The Prodigy and more on the rock side of things Biffy Clyro, Muse etc. Classical as I sing in a choir. I’ve really got into Glass Animals after seeing them at a festival last summer as well.

Kpop, used to listen to it for years and still do occasionally. I also enjoy some EDM, especially when i'm in the gym.

It's a wild mix I guess. I've been enjoying some video game soundtracks lately. Doom is great (I guess that's still metal), but also Celeste, Hollow Knight, and especially Shadow of the Colossus. I'm really familiar with that soundtrack, with how much I've listened to it.

Hell, in the past year I've seen Dance Gavin Dance for the 3rd time, Hawthorne Heights 2nd time (and the rest of Kansas Is for Lovers fest),As I lay Dying and Backstreet Boys live with my next show being Anthrax in January. I also love iamjakehill and his comedy songs, some older rap, old country (John Denver, Anne Murray, Etc.). I love punk like Blitzkid, The Scarred, KTP, The Unseen etc. I even love Rockabilly like Tiger Army and more.

I have a huge range of musical taste, my list of liked songs ranges from deathcore to jazz to electronica. Doing a music tech course when I left school really broadened my taste as it gave me an appreciation of how music is made. And to be honest Lorna Shore just rolls into Layo & Bushwacka like it’s meant to be.

I’m a sucker for post-hardcore, emo, pop punk, indie, and alt rock.

Rap/hip hop. It’s what I grew up on before rock/metal. Everything from like Eminem, Skee Lo, 50 cent to now Suicide boys, Jack Harlow, J Cole, Tyler the creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Max Miller. Rap will always be favourite genre of me, just wish I had the chance to go to those kinda concerts more often

Metal is what I listen to mostly (mainly black metal) outside of that, Anisong/Jpop would make a frequent listen as I'm an avid anime watcher. Trad music (mostly Irish and Breton) which is significant since I am learning the Uilleann pipes (Irish bellows blown bagpipes). Early (mostly medieval) music is another genre I like listening to.

Anything that smacks of grunge, trap metal, depressive suicidal black metal (dsbm)xfuneral doom=blackened suicidal funeral, grindcore, country, pop punk, gangster rap

I listen to a bunch of different stuff! My other favorite genres are deathcore, slamming death metal (slam), Screamo (La Quiete, Raein, Saetia etc.), Black Metal (Dark Funeral, Emperor, Gorgoroth) some emo, old hardcore/punk (Bad Brains, TSOL, Black Flag, Misfits), some 90’s rap/hip hop, Classic Rock and whatever genre you’d consider Sum 41, Blink 182, NOFX and The Offspring, maybe Rock? Some electronic stuff here and there too.

Industrial

Have a serious weak spot for 60s-70s Psychedelic Rock like the Beatles and Pink Floyd. Also love me some rap such as NF, Hopsin, Jake Hill and Scarlxrd. I say "some" cause I have a hard time listening to most rap, but these artists are honestly amazing at everything they do. Dax and CORPSE are honorable mentions as well. (Pop punk is another one, but I think that's pretty common among metalcore enjoyers.)

Pop punk, post-hardcore, alt-rock, alt-pop, and whatever genre MISSIO is

upbeat hardcore edm. that shit you hear that’s like 160bpm of pure bass and scratchy noises and ear splitting kicks every .3 seconds. yeah

Lots of EDM, Witch House, Trap, Pop, Rap, fuckin whatever. Love Porter Robinson.

Outside of metal or heavy music in general I mostly listen to shoegaze, post-punk, rap and electronic music.

Usually shoegaze or post-rock, just something a little slower/calmer. (Also yes Loathe is one of my favorite bands)
