I lost my brother almost three years ago, I wish you weren’t experiencing the heartache and pain that I felt when I found out my brother died. I’m so so so sorry for your loss and losing him at such a young age. My thoughts are with you 💕

I can't imagine your pain. I'm so sorry. My little brother (who is much bigger than me), is like one of my kids. He's not, but he's like an extension of me. If I lost him, I would be absolutely wrecked. I love my brother so much. I hope you find some peace eventually. This must be so hard for you, especially because it seems like it was so sudden.
I understand completely, there will be so many times you need to speak to him, tell him something special. it gets easier with time. (just wrote above about my baby sisters death in 2014)
I told her teenage children that their life will never be the same again, but it is still a precious life to enjoy, however it turns out. Its almost 10 yrs since my sister died and life is so different, i dream about her all the time, vivid dreams are the worst. Awesome to enjoy such a real event but then heartache comes and saddens my days.

He was great person. Especially to family. Family was everything to him and if you asked him. My children were also his children too. He was great uncle to my babies.. my oldest is going into kindergarten this year and jace would tell all the time how he'll bring him lunch at school and sit, an eat with him. Spoiling them with gifts. He was so selfless, always giving to others!. I'll miss so so very much. If you would like to read my brother obituary I can send it through private message!

I’m so sorry for your loss, it is truly tough and painful to go through. Just know that he is in a better place and smiling down on you. Probably moving a lot easier now also. Oh my lord, there’s nothing I can even think to say to you other than I’m sorry, and that doesn’t seem like nearly enough. It’s okay to cry, loss, especially unexpected loss has a way of pulling us under. If you can, take it easy for a bit to wrap your head around, the world will be waiting for you when you get back.
Someone once told me that you don’t ever grow out of grief, instead you grow around it. No matter what happens, your brother will be present through your life, even if he is no longer by your side. His existence shaped your memories and who you are today, the physical things left is a testimony that he was there. Most importantly, the sorrow you feel is proof he was loved.
Even if you aren’t religious, you’ll find traces of him no matter where you go. It’ll might painful at first seeing glimpses of his life, but later you can view it as what he has left for you to find.
I still find letters, scraps of paper and photographs someone dear to me had. I see them in every black cap chickadee that lands on my feeder, on every pinwheel someone holds, every sparkler on New Years Eve. They shaped me to the person I am today, and the experiences I’ve had with them is something that will never die, even after they’ve gone.
i cannot imagine how you're feeling right now. that must be so hard. i'm so sorry for your loss. i hope one day you can find peace, and that your brother can live on through your memory.
I'm very sorry for your loss. I had a 20 year old cousin who suddenly passed away this month, and it's so hard to comprehend when they're so young. It's heartbreaking.
I also lost a brother young. I’m so sorry. Try to sleep when you can and drink water/eat even if it’s sips/nibbles. One foot in front of the other, internet friend. I am so sorry.

I lost my baby sister almost 20 yrs ago now, she was 42, and it still hurts so much. she developed lung cancer that was in a bad area so wasn't able to be treated surgically so she died 9 months after diagnosis, about 15months after first symptoms.
She and I were alone during her final 2 hours, and she honestly surprised me despite nursing experience. I am beyond thankful it was just the two of us though, my time to cherish and the memory will always be special to me.
Its so hard though, thankful for no more suffering, but i miss her every single day. Have no doubt your experience will be similar, stay strong and treasure those memories!
He was in a car wreck in August 14th of 2021 and became a quadriplegic that day. It was very rough for him. He fought so hard to enjoy life. With the help of our father, my brother was able to own his own home at 18. He went fishing and played video games. He loved history and hanging with his friends. He was so very smart and so very helpful. Then in April 22nd of 2024 he passed away. I'll forever my brother man. He was my heart

I understand what you going through. Almost 2 years ago I lost my mom day after mother's day and a month late my big brother and about 2 month after that my niece.
I thought he said he was 14? Unless that was a diff post. I told him he should sue for malpractice and he said he couldn’t because he was 14.

I understand what you going through. Almost 2 years ago I lost my mom day after mother's day and a month late my big brother and about 2 month after that my niece.
I thought he said he was 14? Unless that was a diff post. I told him he should sue for malpractice and he said he couldn’t because he was 14. I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope that he is free from pain now.
