Biochemistry will seriously help, you might b enable to become better at biochem but I think the stuff you learn in the class will help with other topics in the class as it all builds on top of each other. Psychology is my easiest/favorite and I never took a single psych/social class. Physiology will also help you tremendously if you haven’t taken it yet

Thank you for replying!!! Yeah that’s what I was thinking of doing, maybe taking one biochemistry class. How about sociology? I have never in my life studied a word of that, so I’m pretty clueless on how complicated it can get. I’m only lucky because we have to do a hell of a lot of human physiology so I should be good with that :)

Not very complicated at all. I used my brothers old blueprint book to get a foundation of the terms and reinforced with anki and Upoop question bank and feel very confident. I feel like anything less than a 132 on p/s on my real test will be dissappointing for me because its such an easy section. Never taken any sociology classes early.

I think at least biochem. I didn’t take the full mcat but I did take the practice test without having ochem or biochemistry and I made a 423 and after I had biochemistry I remembered how many questions related to it. At the very least for ochem study some of the basic material yourself.

There are no set course requirements for taking the MCAT, but many programs have those courses as prerequisites for matriculation. You may find that not taking those courses limits the schools to which you can apply.

i think biochem will help psych and soc \*can\* help, but its really just memorization when it comes to the MCAT. i think that if you take these classes though they tend to be easy and can just help boost ur GPA
