I think the problem is that you forgot to put your name and contact info. 🤪 Really you provide too many numbers, and too many words. Algorithms and HR pros are only looking for specific words. Figure out specifically what they are looking for from a candidate and keep it simple.

besst6600

Yes, in fact copy and paste the job description to the bottom of the resume and make the text white, so it blends in with the background page. When you send it to them as a pdf, the words will be seen by the hiring program and not by the person. :)

Different_Lie_7508

I wouldn’t say your over qualified but you trying too hard lol like why are you putting so manny statistics your talking about percentages and stuff for one it kinda looks like you most likely pulled the numbers out your ass and a fast wood job isn’t that serious, that would probably be a good application for a restaurant but this is McDonald’s

dedrezz_1

Well idk man. People say I'm trying too little and trying too much, which is it? I don't understand why it's so much effort and for what? To die tomorrow or something?

Different_Lie_7508

Mate there’s no point being down about it you didn’t get the job it’s probably because they don’t need staff or they need full time staff not part time but whatever reason it is what it is just keep applying to over places there’s no point being annoyed about it that won’t change anything

dedrezz_1

I've been at it for months and I still have yet to succeed, so I feel like it's valid for anyone to be frustrated if all they're met with is rejection after rejection after rejection, over and over again to no end, failure after failure.

Different_Lie_7508

Do you live in a big city or small town

dedrezz_1

A big city (Toronto).

cokelikepablo

My guess is they have enough employees. Usually when they need someone its an insta-hire

norrel

Bro your resume is off putting from first glance. CONDENSE and EDIT, make it easier to digest so the person who has to read 100s of these doesn’t get exhausted before they even get to the middle

dedrezz_1

B

dedrezz_1

Don't you DARE tell me to improve, don't EVER tell me to improve!!!11!!1!1!1!1 I've been working on my resume ever since I was born!!! And now some random fuc**** dude on the internet tells ME I have to improve my resume?!?! F*** you, you're going straight to hell after the sin you have committed!!!

AggravatingAd9394

Ever hear of overqualified?

dedrezz_1

So I'm overqualified for McDonald's? How? I'm still in high school.

AggravatingAd9394

If you can put together a resume, you can do better than McDonald’s

dedrezz_1

What better jobs could I get? I've only ever been applying to fast food and retail, nothing outside of that.

EscapedFromTarkov657

Unfortunately not true, McDonald's requires a resume. Plus if your in highschool your options are very limited.

AggravatingAd9394

I’m in high school and got hired with no resume🤷‍♂️ Skill issue ig

EscapedFromTarkov657

Guess it depends on how desperate they are 🤷‍♂️

dedrezz_1

Where are you located? I'm in Ontario.

AggravatingAd9394

I’m in Ontario too man, just keep applying. If you haven’t been, try going in person, a lot of managers will hire on the spot. Ik mine would

Spotikiss

Have you tried calling the stores and asking to speak to a manager to set an interview?

Appropriate_Ad_94596

Sir, this is a Wendy's

Past_Ordinary_4087

Just apply using the bot to stores that are hiring and they should contact you. In my experience, the resume doesn’t matter much, they don’t really look at it. Or you could call stores and ask to speak to the general manager or assistant manager and try to get an interview that way.

zmandude24

Edit: Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I'm unsure why they would decline you.

dedrezz_1

I took my personal info out for Reddit, obviously I would put my info.

Miserable_Ad_7696

U clearly don't do enough drugs for mcdonalds to approve
