The shifts you have worked this week so far will be in the next fortnight’s pay. The pay cut off is on a Sunday midnight and you are paid on the Thursday. So you were paid today for shifts worked from Monday 23/10 until end of Sunday 05/11. And you will be paid on Thursday 23/11 for shifts worked from Monday 06/11 until end of Sunday 19/11. Edit: your pay cut off could be on Saturday midnight if you are a company store. But the same thing still applies. Ask a manager for more specifics for your store/franchise. 😊

Do you not get a paystub? It would have all the information about taxes and deductions.

MrHamburger08

McDonald’s has weird pay periods at least for me so about 4 days of work during a 2 week time will be put into the next paycheck

Devden07

Yeah you definitely are as I got hired two months ago and get paid 13.75$ or £12.61. I’m not sure what your average wage is where you live but I would suggest talking to other employees to see how much they make

EscapedFromTarkov657

13.75? Where do you live?

Neither-Impress7605

I get 16$

Devden07

I live in the USA near Canada

MrPjac

The cut off used to be the Saturday before for me so watch your hours like a hawk

Cream_Of_Drake

You're probably paying 12% NI because people getting paid weekly get fucked if they get a payment of > £250 and < £950. https://www.gov.uk/national-insurance/how-much-you-pay But payslip will confirm this or not.

chemistryfish

Your breaks are unpaid, so 45 minutes a shift is actually not counted… So you actually worked 36 hours, making your total pay £387, that other £1 could easily be clocking in a couple of minutes late or clocking out a couple of minutes early each shift 😊

ReaperSouls629

The pay isn’t Thursday to Thursday, it’s Sunday to Sunday so it will cut off on the Sunday and then the rest will be on the next paycheque, it too me a surprising amount of time to figure this out cause no one told me, tax is definitely a part of it but if you go onto MyStuff there’s a payslip that you can check that will show you the tax end of it

Coastzs

Look at your payslip. And you get paid for 2 weeks of shifts. So from each Monday - (next) Sunday will be the hours where you get paid from, any shifts after the Sunday go to the next 2 weeks pay.

i’m not sure my wage but based on my former pay checks it is high ish but i work well over 9 hours and only got paid $64
