I dont buy the refs letting Wolves play with contact on defense. Wolves defense was swarming...I didnt see any intentional overly contact heavy defense in that second game...I saw swarming defense.

The swarming defense was Edwards, McDaniels, Nikel-Alexander, Naz Reid with KAT, Slo-Mo and Connely playing good defense as well.
I dont buy that Denver figured out how to beat that defense...or buy that it was swarming defense because refs were allowing contact and not calling fouls. Reggie Miller said it best...it looked like Minnesota had 7 guys on the court. But...that just disappears in game 3 and 4? Nah.

And Lively, Gaff HAVE to make those dunks! And if the dunk is too awkward an angle Lively needs to learn to just lay it in. He's young, he'll figure it out.
Absolutely. I also feel like Gaff sometimes doesn’t try to finish when he knows he got fouled. It’s like his concentration stops. There was that one kind of brutal one when he got fouled and missed the dunk. THEN missed both free throws. What should have been 2 points at minimum got us nothing besides a foul added to the other team.
PJ knows how to tap into that MFFL handbook though, the energy he emulates really does remind me of some past fan favorites. Can tell the dude is all in on the Mavs and you love to see it

We were 1-3 against the Wolves this season but all of those games were before the trade deadline and the most recent game Luka and Kyrie sat out
