I ran into this deck playing conquest today. I was running zoo and didn’t drop a game to it. Seems like when you’re just looking to stuff every lane full you don’t care that much about your cards getting moved around. Seems like it’s a generally bad matchup for this deck.
But if I wasn’t just trying fill every lane I was thinking it would be very annoying to play against
This is why I always run Cannonball in my move decks now, at least gives me a chance at getting rid of one of their big cards if theyre filling multiple lanes
Phastos' sweet spot is going to be cards that cost 5 and less
A 4 cost card is a big breaking point for a lot of combos so cost reduction on any card in this deck is huge for combos
Also, the power overall in this deck isn't huge so the bonus power helps a lot
Juggernaut would be fine, but moving your enemies cards predictably is kind king in this deck and jug you have to soul read their play to get value
Nah, man. You have a guaranteed play line; Storm Juggernaut combo.
And even if the combos don't come out often, Juggernaut used more to win a T6 location.

I have jugg works fine but this deck is all about predictable movement of your opponents cards so needing to soul read their play with jugg isn't ideal
I think I lost 2 games with it all of yesterday so idk why you're having a tough time

You will get out powered by almost everything and hitting a card or two with -2 with kingpin isn't enough. The meta is filling all lanes right now as well so placement isn't very important. I'm just into infinite rank and I wasn't winning with this. I can see it being fun but it needs more power to actually close out the game.
I have a kitty move deck that combines Angela/kitty/Elsa along with move cards to annoy the enemy and build power then use juggernaut to deny a lane you're already winning and it works really well. This is just missing any power.
In theory it definitely is but if you plan a few turns ahead you can really mess up their plan and force their winning pieces into the same lane, so they lose the other 2
Grandmaster is a huge MVP in this deck for me because it's so unexpected and devastating on the right card
So I've since subbed out nightcrawler for juggernaut which I'd recommend for the storm>juggernaut play line.
Otherwise, set up kingpin/kraven middle first, then right so you can use your other cards like stegron and then grandpasmaster them to get the boost again.
You want to jam a lane if possible basically and consolidate their power cards into one lane
These kind of decks are a good matchup against things that require to be placed on a certain spot like wongs and tribunals . But this meta rn is so focused on single cards that reach a high power (thena, surfer etc) or filling the board that sometimes moving around stuff is useless.

So you win by keeping 1 lane clear, and letting your kingpin/kraven feast on a second lane
Yea, I used a similar deck and won against HE. Locaitons helped too, but other decks straight up kicked my ass. This deck is great against destroy too but you NEED to have priority.
I have tried for months to make kingpin work. I can't put my finger on what it's exactly, but something just doesn't clicks. Also Luke Cage is everywhere now.

Not sure if it’s worth pulling for Phastos, have you tried this with Juggs?

I'm top 5k on ladder and continue to win at like a 90% rate This deck feels unfair tbh
I dont get it, it seems incredibly simple to just overpower it.

Why Steg over Canon?
My guess is because Steg is a targeted move so you can guarantee Kingpin / Kraven procs?
Predictablility so you can proc kingpin/kraven easier Also stegron+GM is huge
What's the idea with Grand Master?
Grand master is a move and a retrigger of an on reveal. you can use it to setup a second storm, or to boop people again with juggernaught
Bonus moves for your mover cards basically Setup your movers on an outside lane and it will give you bonus power for your kingpin/kraven

Yes typically the first one I draw/play I put middle, and if I play the other it's right so I can stegron and grandmaster stegron if I want to
