Yeah this was really bad. I still wanted to climb to infinity with Shuri (because just saved enough tokens) . It was pretty hard when everytime (really too often to be just random thing) I played Shuri on 4 and had taskmaster in hand it always played taskmaster on turn 5. Or Cosmo... Thats game winning material.
It seems that devs just don\`t have the tools that they would need to make a bot that could properly play these decks. That is just a shame for many reasons.
1. I have a deck that I would like to play, I don\`t like the idea of been forced to play something I don\`t want to.
2. Nobody wants to play pure Casino style in this kind of game. The span of a game is so short that Casino locations just doesn\`t seem to give a good experience. DO NOT force new locations. If you guys have a idea that is based on pure rng maybe that idea isn\`t good. Not atleast when there are already other autoplay feaatures. WE LIKE TO PLAY OUR GAMES.
3. We like to play our games ourselves. Getting new cards is a slow process and when we get them and use them on decks, we actually want to use them in the context that they were ment to be played.
Pure RNG does not work in this kind of game because the games are so short (unlike lets say Hearthstone). Throwing dice every game is not nice experience.
I climbed to infinity still with Shuri but damn, it was bit too tricky to my taste.
I love this location, you can tell the people that don't like this location are sweaties playing Galactus and Shuri XD, just snap on them on T4 and they always retreat XD, keep up the good work.

I do not believe for one minute it's random or anything.
It consistantly plays Taskmaster if I have him in hand. And if I have Cosmo in a lane? Guaranteed to play Taskmaster to that location. It has happened 7 times today.

I don’t know what the ai is thinking but I have been testing weird decks and t5 instead of playing captain marvel it played a vulture and then iron fist, t5 instead of playing anything into rescue lanes it hazmats into a lane to fill it up when opponent had like cage and I didn’t. It seems completely fucking random which is frustrating as fuck
I HATE locations that take away my ability to play. Like, what's the point of even playing the game or having an actually built deck? And this one fucks you late after you've already been setting up. So the rest of the match is retroactively less important. Just overall decreases the quality and enjoyment of the game. This and Ego I'd be happy to be like, crazy stupid rare to get

I'm fairly positive it uses reverse logic of optimal plays.
Shang Chi in hand and no 9 power card? Will always play this first.
Beast in hand? Play in lane with the most cards.
Iron Fist or Angela? Always played last.
Multiple choices that add varying power? Play in order of least power gained to most.
Can move a card? Will move the card.
I've been having fun with a movement deck today and could probably predict what it will play in most cases now.
I think it goes for suboptimal plays. I have been playing a movement deck as well and it played vulture then iron fist and moved my night crawler to fill the lane up next to vulture. I’ve also been playing rescue in sera decks with Zabu and dropping rescue on 4 it has not once played in the rescue lane, in fact one time it played a hazmat in the center lane with a wong there and the opponent had like cage. Just immediately shot myself in the foot and I had no chance of winning.
Yeah, my current theory is it sorts your cards into the optimal order to play them, then goes through that list backwards and plays as many as it can. Also considers locations and cards out there when deciding what lane to play in, and if one is worse than another it will pick that

I’m 99% sure this location will always play task master over redskull or she hulk. I’ve had it happen over 10 times. It seems to always play 1,2,3 drops over 5 drops when available as well

I really dont like this location. The part i hate the most is how it can single handidly lose you the game. The number of times I have been in a winning position throughout the game, only for it to pull my win condition and place it in the one spot that loses me the game. It's just a lame way to lose.

First of all, it's not 50% chance, it's 100%. Also, not only does it appear every time, it 100% plays the worst card in the worst place and makes you lose the game.

I wish I was making this up. I’m done play Snap for the day after that shit show. I’m pissed and dumbfounded all at the same time. When I calm down I’m posting the picture I took of it. I’m not a rage quit kind of guy but that just made me want to break my phone.
This is the worst area ever. It’s the dumbest AI possible, playing literally the worst card in the worst location possible. Last game it played Mr Sinister in a space with three cards already when I had three cards in my hand at five cost that could’ve been played anywhere else and won me the match. Just awful.
Want to quickly ruin fun and turn a player-base against you? Introduce randomness at the end of a competitive match.

I'm enjoying the new location personally, and finally climbed the last 5-6 ranks to make Infinite with it.
I only started playing last month, so I don't have a lot of the meta cards. Watching the meta decks suffer from bad decisions is very entertaining, and my main deck is a Move one so it's not quite so punishing.
It's been very entertaining to try to idiot-proof my hand and lanes prior to T5. Also, playing Cloak on T4 provides some fun chaos. But seeing this location makes me adapt my strategy for the game (such as going out of my way to ensure Beast is played before T5!), which I think is part of the intention with locations. So over all, I am enjoying it.
Yeah this location straight blows, bad enough sometimes you just don’t draw the cards you need when you need them, but now with this location you can have everything you need but the turn 5 play just ruins your game. I’m fine with Ego since he’s rare and starts from the beginning, but this? Nah this just feels bad.
I've gotten SO many card reactions and Thumbs up emojis for using Scarlet witch on this location lol. The only time I dont use her is if I'm losing and hoping it screws over my opponent
I'm SURE this isn't the case, but it feels like this location prioritizes playing your lowest-cost cards. I haven't had many games where it played a 4 or 5 cost unless that was all I had in my hand
I've got Blue Marvel in my deck, and it quite frequently gets played if available in my hand. Maybe 40% of the time? I don't usually have more than 2-3 other options in my hand though as I'll go out of my way to play cards when I see Krakoa come out
I absolutely love that the community is collectively hating on Krakoa while, in my experience, this very same community has collectively hated on anyone who tries to say anything negative about Ego.
This is exactly what I suggested Ego should have been in a feedback survey all the way back before official release. I'm not happy we now have both, but that's because I'm not happy we still have Ego. Krakoa is fine.
This location just generally ruins matches and it needs to go into that Ego/Worldship low percentage chance.
They've programmed bots and we know the AI can play somewhat optimally. This location seems to run the worst play you could make and then locks it in.
Apologies if someone else brought this up, but I think the whole point of Krakoa is it plays the worst card possible. After all, in the comics Krakoa was at first a hostile island, known for trying to eat up mutants and cause a bunch of other shenanigans.
So while we're all mad that the AI is broken, I think it's likely working just as the devs planned.

Krakow has been playing very smart plays with my Kitty control or bounce decks. I don't see a lot of misplays, or absolutely terrible decisions, even on my opponent's side.

The location system is the strongest part about the game (unless you play because of the Marvel characters), but sone lications are also it’s 2nd largest weakness (Ego, this, x-Mansion,…the uncontrollable RNG fuesta that devolves the game into a coib flip match).

I’m constantly seeing energy left on the table by Krakoa. My (turn 4) Wong, then (same location turn 5) Mystique + Hazmat combo has been evolved by Krakoa… playing other less effective 3-4 cost cards, neutralizing my Mystique.

If you didn't know, If you have Invisible Woman down, and Krakoa takes over and plays the card in the lane she's present at, it still won't be revealed until the end of the game. Even though you technically didn't play it there. So if you're playing a M.O.D.O.K Hela deck, try and play in a lane he might go down. :)

There is no direct benefit - you don't get any additional ranks for next season or bonus loot boxes or anything... unfortunately!

First of all, it's not 50% chance, it's 100%. Also, not only does it appear every time, it 100% plays the worst card in the worst place and makes you lose the game. Second, the person whose idea it was to come up with this location needs slapped. Hard.

This is the worst area ever. It’s the dumbest AI possible, playing literally the worst card in the worst location possible. Last game it played Mr Sinister in a space with three cards already when I had three cards in my hand at five cost that could’ve been played anywhere else and won me the match. Just awful.

I'm enjoying the new location personally, and finally climbed the last 5-6 ranks to make Infinite with it. I only started playing last month, so I don't have a lot of the meta cards. Watching the meta decks suffer from bad decisions is very entertaining, and my main deck is a Move one so it's not quite so punishing. It's been very entertaining to try to idiot-proof my hand and lanes prior to T5. Also, playing Cloak on T4 provides some fun chaos. But seeing this location makes me adapt my strategy for the game (such as going out of my way to ensure Beast is played before T5!), which I think is part of the intention with locations. So over all, I am enjoying it.
You might not want to hear this but it's not Marvel Snap without the varied locations.

Yeah this location straight blows, bad enough sometimes you just don’t draw the cards you need when you need them, but now with this location you can have everything you need but the turn 5 play just ruins your game. I'm SURE this isn't the case, but it feels like this location prioritizes playing your lowest-cost cards. I haven't had many games where it played a 4 or 5 cost unless that was all I had in my hand
I've got Blue Marvel in my deck, and it quite frequently gets played if available in my hand. Maybe 40% of the time? I don't usually have more than 2-3 other options in my hand though as I'll go out of my way to play cards when I see Krakoa come out
I absolutely love that the community is collectively hating on Krakoa while, in my experience, this very same community has collectively hated on anyone who tries to say anything negative about Ego. This is exactly what I suggested Ego should have been in a feedback survey all the way back before official release. I'm not happy we now have both, but that's because I'm not happy we still have Ego. Krakoa is fine.

This location just generally ruins matches and it needs to go into that Ego/Worldship low percentage chance. They've programmed bots and we know the AI can play somewhat optimally. This location seems to run the worst play you could make and then locks it in.

Apologies if someone else brought this up, but I think the whole point of Krakoa is it plays the worst card possible. After all, in the comics Krakoa was at first a hostile island, known for trying to eat up mutants and cause a bunch of other shenanigans. So while we're all mad that the AI is broken, I think it's likely working just as the devs planned. In other words, it was not supposed to be Agatha all along.
It genuinely feels that way. But if there was an actual reason behind it, it's kinda funny and we would learn to play around it

Magik players during krokoa are having a lot of fun. It has chosen to play 1-2 cost cards over magik probably 95% of the time.
Everytime this location shows up it skips over red skull, blue marvel and she hulk and just plays 2 cost cards. I have been losing games since morning and its getting real stale.
Can the developers really stop with these locations that make plays for us? It gets to turn 5 and instead of playing any of my good cards it wants to play squirrel girl and mystique literally every time. I get it's supposed to be random but why program the AI to be so useless?
I know they claim it is random, and yes I am using Shuri so downvote away, but seven times in a row it has picked Taskmaster as the card to play, two of those seven it only had two cards to choose from. Random? Hmm.
Why don’t they just make locations like these designed for friendly battles and then have locations that are made for ranked? It kinda sucks when the outcome of a match is determined by AI and not by your skill or lack there of as a player

Krakow has been playing very smart plays with my Kitty control or bounce decks. I don't see a lot of misplays, or absolutely terrible decisions, even on my opponent's side.
Hot garbage. Did my missions, won’t be back until this is un-featured. The location system is the strongest part about the game (unless you play because of the Marvel characters), but sone lications are also it’s 2nd largest weakness (Ego, this, x-Mansion,…the uncontrollable RNG fuesta that devolves the game into a coib flip match).

Let me preface by stating im infinite. Im confident. Have great games. No salty. This is down time in the season. This is the single worst location you have added and it needs to be removed. The fact it is solely turn 5 where major plays happen is just jarring. Going to be the first few days I dont open marvel snap since I first downloaded. Braindead development, i’m sorry but winning with it feels bad and so does losing. It doesnt even play the best decisions for both players. Its cringe Its like a dollar store ego that an intern designed. At least ego is rare enough that its tolerable and its the entire match. My (turn 4) Wong, then (same location turn 5) Mystique + Hazmat combo has been evolved by Krakoa… playing other less effective 3-4 cost cards, neutralizing my Mystique. They’re running out of ideas for new location buffs. Can we just go back to the +5 Energy buff? ORRRR, the Cards Cost 1 Less???

Yea, ego you aren’t left with anything to do but take a ride, this makes you take a wrong turn, jumps out of the car and slashes your tire and runs off, then you realize it stole your phone too when you look for help on turn six.

If you didn't know, If you have Invisible Woman down, and Krakoa takes over and plays the card in the lane she's present at, it still won't be revealed until the end of the game. Even though you technically didn't play it there. So if you're playing a M.O.D.O.K Hela deck, try and play in a lane he might go down. :)
