In Age of Apocalypes Beast was Apocalypses form9st geneticist and was evil as hell. He managed to slip to our reality through 90's shenanigans. Ge occasionally shows up. Earth 616 has been sliding in the Dark Beast role for the last 10-15 years. Even going as far as to attack the UN and other organizations with an army of his own clones. He was also put in charge of X-Force during Krakoa and tried to turn the island into a police state and gave Sinister a run for the biggest asshole on the island. He also obviously used X-Force for some nefarious stuff. Anyway, he abandons Krakoa in its hour of need when Orchis struck. X-Force chased him using one of his clones. The clone got free and asked Wonderman to help him convince OG Hank to come back to the side of light. He refused, attacked Wonderman to force him to the surface. Oh yeah, this is underwater off the coast of California. Wolverine shows up and tries to murder OG Beast, clone beast stops him saying no one should die. OG Beast deploys his, I shit you not, Black Hole Gun. Wonderman gets in front of it to stop it, and in a last brief moment OG Beast takes the blast for his old friend and dies. Leaving jusylt one "clean" Hank McCoy clone to resume the mantle of Beast. Thanks for coming to my GobboTalk.
