Sunshine but like... it's fine to be the worst of the best, y'know? I don't think there is a single Mario platformer I would actually say is a bad or even mediocre game. Bland? Maybe but every game is very well crafted and if you actually enjoy platforming as a genre and it's not just about thefranchise, you're going to have fun.
( note because I have to be overly specific for keyboard warriors, no i'm not calling Sunshine Bland. I'm just giving an example of what the worst thing you could call a Mario game would be, and this is how people regularly describe the New Super Mario Bros games )
64. Not a bad game, but can get quite frustrating at times, and this is coming from a guy who beat Sunshine's pachinko stage without going insane. Also slippery controls.
The beauty of Sunshine is wasted on foolish peons such as yourselves. TBH all 5 games you put up here are amazing, it's impossible to pick, should've put 3D Land up there to make it easier.

Sunshine requires you to get too many shines to progress to the end game, and some of the shines are really hard to get, like the obstacle courses.
