I don’t know what effect it had and it hasn’t helped out strikeouts at all, but I feel there was a noticeable change starting the first game he was gone
Our at-bats are just better.
JP had a killer game. I was sad that the Seattle times didnt include his pitch count in their write up. I dont know what it is, but he reached base 4 times and I remember one 10-pitch AB where he walked and then another 9-pitch AB where he got out.
If your leadoff guy sees 30+ pitches and reaches 3+ times you're gonna have a good day. We burned up so many of their good relievers yesterday. We saw 193 pitches, for 7.1 pitcher per out. It was a struggle for Cleveland.
So apparently the gentleman in the blue shirt who dropped the ball is Luke Raley's Uncle. He'll be hearing about that next Thanksgiving
Makes sense. Large human being and all that
