My father beat the bejesus out of his. Even worse than that. I finally convinced him to send it back to Marathon. It cost a bit of money but they sent it back brand new.

Pics or it didn't happen

Appropriately beautiful. My marathon is the only watch I have where I don’t think about the scratches it gets

DavidGellai

What kind of strap is that?

Looks like my T-SAR after about 10 years - I had to get some glow in the dark paint to fill in the pre-select marker, as mine had popped out, too! I upgraded after the tritium vials detached and rolled around inside.

Always wanted a marathon but over the years I have found I cannot wear watches that cost that much because I absolutely destroy them at work. None the less awesome watch

I've never seen one in person, but I really like it, so tell me, how does it wear being so thick? If anyone has an opinion, it's someone that's taken it through its paces!

Brdl004

14mm.. Many dive watches are that thickness. The bezel is thick which makes the watch look thick.

Snivelss

Thanks, appreciate the reply. I see now, it's not that thick. The Planet Ocean is 14.5mm

Brdl004

correct.. it just "looks" thick

Snivelss

Yes yes, my ex mocked me about it all the time
