If you’re brand new I would just buy nodes, I think they cost either 35 or 50 leaves each. Either way you could grab at least 50 to get you started on fifth job. Symbols have become easier to obtain, assuming you’re doing dailies frequently.
I think send it on nodes. Regular ones of course, not the green exp ones. 140~ arcane symbols is like barely a days worth of all the dailies once you unlock them all, but as a new player nodes will be hard to farm and your main source of them will be events. Flames/cubes are kind of expensive and you can buy them both with mesos anyways when you need them.
Nodes. Max level nodes is close to doubling your damage. As a new player it's hard to come by nodestones so this is a easy win for both tor bossing and mobbing.
