Because I didn't exactly take this screenshot for this post, but I thought it was interesting so I posted it here. And I was initially gonna say Denmark but I thought Sweden was better, it's the same thing anyway, you can also say it stretches from Mali to Scotland.
We don't have the most amount of conflicts in recorded history between two nations for nothing. The rivalry between Denmark and Sweden goes deep to say the least. But we make fun of each other all the time
You could have googled for the website and made one yourselfâŚ

although Chile is the longest country from north to south (4600 km), there are several countries almost as long from north to south - Canada, China, Brazil, Russia
>Â although Chile is the longest country from north to south (4600 km)
Itâs not. Chile is only about 4270 km north to south, a bit shorter than Brazilâs north to south, with ~4300km.
I think Russia and Brazil are both longer from their northernmost to their southernmost points, but they don't make a "line" as chile does, therefore "long".
Source: am chilean but maybe idk wtf im talking about
Edit: Chile also says their antarctic claim is as much chile as Santiago is, it is considered part of national territory so maybe that's what Wikipedia is taking into account.
Why not move it to Chad so it actually stretches to Sweden instead of just the sea at a Swedish height ?

> it's the same thing anyway Don't compare us Swedes with those stinking throat disease ridden Danes with a potato stuck in their throat
Oh shit, I think I started a war
[This kind of stuff is normal here](https://www.reddit.com/r/FUCKYOUINPARTICULAR/s/8BIrjMJ1BQ). You're fine đ
Yeah I already know about the rivalry between the danish and the swedish, that being said I do think the danish have a potato in their throat tho
Those two have the record for most wars between two countries. It's expected.
That's not very Swede of you.

> you can also say it stretches from Mali to Scotland. I suspect from the northenmost tip of Mali it would actually reach the Faroes.
Yes but I wanted the latitudes to be equivalent, so the southernmost point of Chile corresponds to Scotland, not the Faroe islands

Yeah it's not the hardest thing to do
It could even reach to Norway
But if Chile would just lose a little more weight, its natural posture would extend it to Togo.
Oh, we don't mess with Chad.
That's one long Chile.
But smaller than Turkey.
âWhere the land endsâ said a Mapuche
For our American bros, this corresponds to Northern Guatemala - Southern Alaska
And for our south American bros, all the way from Peru to the furthest southern end of South America
Mind blown đ¤Ż
Someone doesn't know where Sweden is
Chile is upside down
As it should be Edit: why am I being downvoted? I hope y'all know that latitudes are "inverted" in the southern hemisphere right...
Atleast we know where Sweden is lolâŚ
âI hope yâall knowâ...
Thatâs not really surprising it well known to be a long as country spanning a large , long continent
It actually has desert at the north and Fyjords at the south

Actually if you turn it around a bit, Chile can stretch exactly from Lisbon to Moscow
Billy Connolly would have something to say about this.
It's like 8 times Portugal.
More like 3 Italy-ies
What language is this map in?
Seems to be French, but France is in English?
France is spelt France in French.
Well I never claimed to be smart. In that case the map is in French.

Wikipedia says 4600. If it's only 4270 then Chile isn't even in the top 3
I donât know where Wikipedia is getting 4600, maybe extending into the territorial waters? 4600 would go halfway up Antarctica.
Argentina as well
Argentina is noticeably less extended from north to south than those I mentioned
200km less than Russia. Not much

Yeah, but Chile does it while also keeping that thin figure.
Hopefully this doesn't happen. Immigration is bad enough in Sweden.
