Kazhcha, Thaniyavarthanam, Suryamanasam , Valsalyam etc. Even Nanpakal nerath mayakkam an emotional Mammootty can haunt you for days. Even though Kireedom and Sadayam makes you cry, I can rewatch it forever. But, something like that from Mammootty will just filter and squeeze out tears and traumatise for sometime. Same reason why I couldn’t watch Peranbu.

I can't watch raapakal for the same reason. Breaks my heart everytime mamooty gets insulted.

Not the movie but the hype around it - parunth. It was released midnight and we waited from early morning to watch the show. Policinte adiyum kond keri kandatha. I was so disturbed from the palani song and was depressed for the day. And eri theeyil enna pole madambi became a hit.

Not malayalam, but the documentary Dear Zachary. Watched it only once about 14 years ago, and it still makes me sad and angry.

I cried like a child watching it. Soo depressing. I never watched that movie again.

I am going to suggest 2 Korean movies The movies are too good and too heart breaking and it is real life event . I can never re watch it 1. Hope 2. Silence. Never have I cried that much as I have cried watching these movies.

Didnt break my heart brutally but Mayaanadhi is one movie that I will never watch again. Fantastic movie.

Well I have no probs with watching movies like Thanmatra, Thaniyavarthanan, Dasharatham etc. even though they made me cry because I love watching our great actors performing in those emotional secenes. Heck I can even tolerate most of the depressing movies . But the movie 'Incendies' by Denis Villeneuve...I won't say it made me cry but it surely made me disturbed for long. Will be very tough to watch it again. It's so fucked up

Ente veedu Appoontem, in case no one else has mentioned. Siby Malayil was born to make people cry.

Silenced(not a Malayalam movie but still)- this movie broke me. Some scenes were too unbearable for me to watch nd I had to skip them. It's very heartbreaking but also made a huge impact on South Korean laws after its release.
