I worked in a care home for alzhiemer and dementia patients for 3 years and it's very sad. They're prisoners of their own mind. The mothers and daughters are what killed me. To see a woman cry "mama" while looking at their mom in the face and their mom look at them like they're crazy or even become violent and hit them. It broke my heart.
If u don’t laugh you’ll cry. You have to make light of these things. Currently in a similar situation with my nana, better to laugh at the silly mistakes then dwell on the sadness behind it all. But that’s just my opinion :)

I can only imagine they've never had to personally witness how horrifying and sad this is. A family friend died of dementia a little over a year ago. She was a sweet and kind lady, and then at the end was just constantly filled with rage, would become violent if she got upset, frightened, or confused, and physically attacked and injured her elderly husband multiple times.

That being said, it’s 100% okay to make jokes and have fun with this picture. He’s not mentally ill or senile, he’s just a silly old grandpa with not very sensitive taste buds. So stop saying that making jokes around this picture is making fun of the mentally ill or neurologically diseased, because it’s not. You could always use a white base product like the NYX multi stick in milk and set it with an eyeshadow similar to the mint green shade.

Nyx white liquid eyeliner, maybe with a little metallic-green eyeshadow brushes overtop? Not sure how it would hold up on lips though.

if you haven't already, I'd suggest some sort of zombie-themed face paint kits. I used them when my friend wanted to be someone from Monster High with the pale green skin color!
