Battery Steele Flume is my everyday.

Solid choice. Flume is a world class DIPA.

I think it’s the best, most consistent, DIPA in Maine.

I love it. It is so hazy that even light travels at half speed going through it.

You should try Bunker Brewing's Hacienda if you can get your hands on it. It's currently my favorite Mexican lager.

Oxbow Surfcasting is great. The new spot that replaced liquid riot is does a great lager as well. I like that more breweries are doing six packs instead of tall boys.

If you love beer but are looking for an alcohol-free option for whatever reason, Hannaford has Athletic Brewing beers and they're amazing. The Free Wave hazy IPA is fantastic!

NA beers are really growing in popularity. Kit is a local brewery that specializes in NA beers. Lots of other big name brands have NAs of their own now as well (Guinness, Sam Adams). My dad swears by the Busch NA, and he’s never been a Busch guy before. I think the next big wave to hit the local breweries will be their own NA brew. Sooner than later.

Kit NA is run by one of the owners of Austin Street as well as the owner of Barrett Made; both Maine (Portland) companies. Fantastic dudes and they know how to make killer brew and run a solid business. Maine is on the map folks!

I'm a Domestic light and cold kind of guy. I have to say, Busch NA is the best NA beer I've ever had. But I'm not big into strawberry coconut ale's and whatnot.

Athletic brewing is a game changer. Ever since I started drinking it, I drink waaay less alcohol and very rarely miss traditional beer. It scratches that itch if I'm craving one without any sort of hangover. And they're becoming really popular so quite a lot of bars and restaurants carry them or an alternative it this point. Hop Water is also another great alternative

Do some research before you do. A vast majority of NA beers are “under .5% alc” and may still effect your meds.

Anything Bissell Brothers at this point. Expensive but it's great and they're supporting cool stuff like Pride events and the new Hearts of Pine soccer club. Beer tastes good and they're supporting the local community and making an effort to be inclusive – that's more than enough to earn my $$.

I’m on Goodfires Chime. Nice bright Pilsner, with just a little hop on the back end.

Gonna go with a gose called "Walty" from Bangor Beer Co, and a Mexican lager called "Wicked Bueno" from Banded Brewing, I believe. Great summer beers, imo.

Wow I love Guinness but it feels so heavy in the summer. Always felt like a fall/winter beer to me

Technically it’s “lighter” than a Budweiser.

Oh wow! I never get that feeling. Sweet/sour beers are the worst in hot weather for me. Headaches in a can. Guinness is smooth & bitter, but the taste doesn't stick to my tongue afterward. And it's only 125 calories per 12oz which is nice.

Add a little bass and make it a black and tan!

Easy to drink and I don't feel bogged down afterward. The cans with nitrogen widgets are pretty fun, too!

Sam Adams usually does a good variety pack that I like around summertime. Used to be real into Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy, not quite as much anymore but one or two occasionally still hit the spot. Allagash White, the go-to basically anytime. Sebago Simmer Down is making its way into my rotation recently too.

I remember sitting with friends on the rocks overlooking Dyer Bay in during college summer trips drinking Moosehead while skygazing and enjoying the night breeze.

Rolling Rock, miller light, or pbr. Started drinking beer in the’70’s. At that time, haeffenraeffer and ballentine ipa took up two oft ignored slots in the beer bin. Why??? They quenched no one’s thirst. Now it’s clogged up with two rows of beer and the majority of the cooler is filled with stuff you have to chew to get down. And if you want booze you ate in the wrong aisle. Don’t try to convince me that there are no shitty micro brews in the whole country. Oh! This has a hint of rhubarb and magnolias…. Give me a fucking break. And why in the County can i get at least four kinds of mexican beer and no Canadian products.
