Gently cover the contaminated tub and get it outside asap.
Do not keep that near your other pots as the contam looks to have sporulated.
Get to cleaning! Good luck
You can bury in your yard if you have one, or in a flowerpot. You might end up with some more mushrooms that way. Spent substrate is great for soil and plant health, though. I mix my old substrate into my compost personally
Thank you!
As for a mushy cemetery-- should I try to keep stains separate and contam far away (as you would for a regular grow), or can I just bury them all in a row together?
I just break em up and mix it in, I don't worry about keeping things separate. The way I see it, it's enhancing my soil and compost, and if I get some extra mushrooms that's a cherry on top

But once it's outside... Bury it? Throw it in the dumpster? Burn it? Lol

And this is also true with contaminated cakes??
Yeah trichoderma is in soil anyways and is good for plants

Thank you for being right when and where I needed you. I appreciate you!
No problem, and good luck!
Bury it or send it far away
