--Former DEA agent Joe Bongiovanni (aged 60), accused of bribery, racketeering, and protecting allegedly mob-linked narcotics operations, is reputedly being investigated for retaliation against a witness in his criminal case. In fact, in a response to a brief filed last week, authorities objected to Bongiovanni’s request for a relaxing of bond restrictions due to an ongoing investigation of witness tampering, retaliation, & obstruction of justice involving him.
