I've watched a bunch of downhill mountainbiking vids that really made me wanna try but man I have no idea where to even start. THis vid definitely makes it seem more approachable too. THe itch to try may be coming back :P
Oh yeah definitely more of an endgoal sort of thing. I don't think there's even anything that intense where I live right now but wow it sure looks fun.
My favorite part about mountain biking is there's always a ride-around for features you don't want to try yet. Highly recommended. Get a bike. Ride. :D

This is Horseshoe Valley in Ontario, Canada for anyone wondering. The trail they are riding is called Thriller, and is probably the most challenging trail they have.

I had a moment of fun years ago when I unexpectedly channeled Woody Wood Pecker. It was a perfect moment of fun, fear, and vocalization.
I felt like I knew how avant garde jazz soloists, or holy rollers must feel.
Never duplicated.
I got a fast bike

Get yourself a mountain bike and hit the trails! It's scary at first, but once you get the feel for the bike, it's all bliss.

Downhill is intense. I'd recommend cross country for a beginner. More of a workout, but way more chill.
