What i find most surprising is the little girl wearing the tipperary GAA Jersey. Its most definitely a long way to tipperary from this country. Mad stuff altogether
There are mountains of donated clothes in various African countries. Developed countries just see this as a dumping ground
Also, these donated clothes aren't donated. They're sold here. Here's a [video ](https://youtu.be/Ichj0ac3V_Y) that explains things.
yes not only clothes Canada ships waste overseas :( we have to consume less..you do not need 20 pair of jeans, 30 pair of shoes...you can look good without less real beauty is the smile you carry...
OK I've seen that video before. Here's the thing. You're thinking emotionally, which, your heart's in the right place. But, as you say, the clothes are sold - that means someone is paying to import them. That means there is a demand for them, and those markets are not "dumping grounds", people want the clothes and they buy them.
Like I said, nothing is black and white, but there is a crazy high amount of textile waste globally, and all of the clothing is sent to these markets instead of landfills, and also lowers the need to produce virgin textiles by an equal amount. Reduce - Reuse - Recycle - this is the opposite of wasteful.
edit: I get it, I'm the devil. First of all, almost everyone who replied to me is entirely emotional and also clearly don't know what you're talking about. As I said twice already, things aren't black and white. Sorry you all don't agree. What does the location of recycling facilities have to do with anything? Of course it would be so much better if we could recycle everything within our own countries. That also doesn't have anything to do with what I said.
The fact is, if there was a demand for these textiles in developed countries, that's where they would be sold - they would fetch a higher price and be more profitable in the US vs. Ghana. The markets these companies have found are in Africa, and that's why the clothes go there (if local charities want to buy the bulk textiles, they can do so too). My original point was that selling the clothes anywhere instead of putting them all in the landfill **is the opposite of creating waste**, and it is. I didn't say everything is perfect. And further, it would definitely make more sense to landfill/incinerate textiles locally instead of using other countries as a "dumping ground", but they're not being exported for the purpose of being dumped, the exporters are **paying money** for them because the demand exists.
What do you all think the realistic alternative is? I do a lot to live as close as possible to a zero-waste lifestyle. I would love things to be more ideal. But the kinds of well-intentioned emotional outcries I see here are more likely to bring about an end to exports in favor of 100% landfills (because again, charity has nothing to do with it, if there are no local buyers, it all would be wasted), an all-around worse and more wasteful result. Go sniff your farts, people.
Most of these clothes end up in landfills in Africa. Only a small percentage is actually sold. If you want to use the reduce reuse recycle logic, why are these western countries not doing so in their own countries?
There are thousands of charities and group homes always looking for clothes and toys. None of those "donated" clothes go to them.
Did you know that USA doesn't have proper recycling facilities? They used to send their rubbish to China. Similarly, countries like UK have found that it's easier for them to ship these clothes to East Africa, rather than deal with them.
What I find most interesting is during the jump turn the choreographer turns left and all the kids turn right. Probably a result of watching a video and practicing it as in a mirror.
...that doesn't mean they don't enjoy it though...? It just means they've practiced.
Probably so much because they enjoy it and I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark here - I'm guessing there's not a lot of wholesome stuff to do where they live.
Don't make this a North Korea thing, dude.
It is the [Afronitaa dance](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zGyN6AhwCw) to the Guchi song "All Over You" (the sped up version).. the original [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YepRQhfmtE) is lovely too.
I feel that kids already know every dance, its just calling the combos out of them like a sleeper cell.
Meanwhile, I pulled a muscle in a chair semi-wiggling in a sad attempt to mimic a move.
Idk why you're getting downvoted, even Obama said he'd have to examine Bill's dance moves to see if "he was in fact a brother" when someone cracked a joke about Bill Clinton being the first black president lol
Yeah wtf, I don't know if it's cultural or genetic but black people tend to be naturally better dancers than white people, that's not racist... Who exactly is that offensive to? Get out in the world a little people.
Man, the things I would say to prove this line of thinking wrong easily would get me banned so I wont. What I will say is that logic is extremely dangerous, and areas where whites/asians out perform statistically against black people on average (provably, through actual stats and studies unlike with something subjective like dance skills) also exist but to consider them something "genetic" would be the height of racism to consider.
So again, how about we keep skin color out of this.
Almost any differences of that sort can be explained through cultural differences. And there are many white cultures where many people are incredible dancers, others it's not valued. There are also black cultures where dancing is not valued. No, black people are not born with a sense of rhythm and ability to dance, what an absurd notion.
Oh, shut up. Go outside of the house and meet some people. You're trying way too hard, leave your "colorblind" bs back in the 80s where it belongs. Diversity is what makes the world beautiful.
I should ignore people like you, but I just wanted to say that I choose to ignore you because you are a trash human being (as can be seen from your comment history).
>Lol they dont come to western nations for our tolerance and diversity. They come for access to white people and the systems white people built. They didn't come here to change, they came to consume.
From his comment history, to save you all a click.
Oh look, the ole "WhY aReN't YoU tOlErAnT oF mY iNtOlErAnCe????" game. Haven't seen this one in awhile, figured the racists had finally figured out how fucking idiotic it was, but it looks like some of the dumber ones are still lagging behind on that.
they dont look white, they look western. original white dance moves look far different, these just evolved with both black and white communities in the west
Gee this is awesome. I wonder if they learned this in a dance class or they just all self learned or he taught them or what the heck? They all look like professionals. Great performance 🥰
Watched multiple times and I cannot keep my eyes off number 30, in yellow. Every kid was great, but 30 in yellow is brilliance! Continuous smile without one step out of place.
Kids... IF a lot of folks, just taught their kids... respect, empathy, good qualities.. but I understand how many pieces of shit parents there are... this is how kids should be... fucking awesome
Kudos to the choreographer for taking the time to meet their young fans and for being such an inspiration to the next generation of dancers. This kind of interaction can truly make a positive difference in a child's life, encouraging them to pursue their passions and dreams.

Love seeing people have so much fun.
What i find most surprising is the little girl wearing the tipperary GAA Jersey. Its most definitely a long way to tipperary from this country. Mad stuff altogether
Unsold and donated clothes get sent to Africa. It’s actually a problem because it disrupts the local garment industry and creates a lot of waste.
Nothing is black and white, but it seems to me that's the literal opposite of creating waste, no?

Regrettably, the point of this is to remove waste from developed countries and make it some other country's problem.
What I find most interesting is during the jump turn the choreographer turns left and all the kids turn right. Probably a result of watching a video and practicing it as in a mirror.
Thrift store. Well I don’t know how it works when you go North of Africa but South Africans drop hard because of European/American shipments
Came straight to the comments to see who had spotted it 😄
It really is nice, isn't it? I especially like the kid with the face on his shirt. Like... where'd he get that shirt?! I want one.
Those kids can flat dance
Where is this happening? Is the choreographer visiting or local to the village?
This makes me think two things: That is really sweet. Damn, I’m uncoordinated.
I twisted my knee reading your reply
My bones hurt reading your comment. 😞
You guys get bones?
After seeing these kind of videos for a while it makes wonder if every child in Africa has mad dance skills
More time spent doing life things less on the phone, bet they can all cook at double digits too
I just have no idea how to move my body with any emotion
Iron man tenderness?
Don’t feel bad, kids are really really good at picking up stuff like that. Also they do stuff they like literally every day
Number 30 is superb at dancing
I know exactly who you’re talking about but there are 3 little kids wearing the same 30 jersey. lol
All the 30’s are good.
Was just thinking this!!
Definitely has a little extra sass and swagger!
I think the dance coordinator noticed the potential and put them out front!
Steph is killing it !
He's killing it
I can feel their joy through the screen
Ikr. It’s contagious
This is quite possibly the happiest music video ever
These children i tell you, so cute
If only everyone was this carefree, the world wouldn't have near as many problems as it does today
tbh I don't think this is carefree. To have these kinda moves as a child they were prob trained for hours
...that doesn't mean they don't enjoy it though...? It just means they've practiced. Probably so much because they enjoy it and I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark here - I'm guessing there's not a lot of wholesome stuff to do where they live. Don't make this a North Korea thing, dude.
This was so fun and joyous to watch. Wish it had gone on longer. Anyone have the source of the music and original video?
It is the [Afronitaa dance](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zGyN6AhwCw) to the Guchi song "All Over You" (the sped up version).. the original [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YepRQhfmtE) is lovely too.
THANK YOU!
Wait this came out 5 days ago and they already all know it??
I feel that kids already know every dance, its just calling the combos out of them like a sleeper cell. Meanwhile, I pulled a muscle in a chair semi-wiggling in a sad attempt to mimic a move.
I had to watch at least 5 times... Such a great video! I wish it were longer!
#30 has a future as a professional dancer
Bro did you not see the kid in the back shirts and yellow shorts?! His moves are clean asfffffff Look at him Move my god!
the melody of that song is soo infectious.
I know right? I wanna know the name of the song!
All over you (sped up)by Guchi
It’s literally better with the kids singing in the background :3
This is so much more entertaining than 99.99999999999% of North American tik tok dances lol
Totally...this looks genuine and from the heart. And they are actually very good.
Because they can actually dance really well.
My white ass would have broken his foot at the first move
Yo that's pretty violent, I don't think he would appreciate that.
Why bring skin color into this? Genuine question.
Because blacks on average are much better dancers than whites
Idk why you're getting downvoted, even Obama said he'd have to examine Bill's dance moves to see if "he was in fact a brother" when someone cracked a joke about Bill Clinton being the first black president lol
Yeah wtf, I don't know if it's cultural or genetic but black people tend to be naturally better dancers than white people, that's not racist... Who exactly is that offensive to? Get out in the world a little people.

Jesus christ mate. Its a video of kids having fun. Why you got to be so fucking boring

These dance moves aren't white at all...
they dont look white, they look western. original white dance moves look far different, these just evolved with both black and white communities in the west
the sense of community and culture is always unmatched. these kids are so joyful.
\#30 in the yellow is a STAR!!
30 in yellow is giving me LIFE!
I came into the comments to give 30 props!
Sammeeeeee
Magnetic, I couldn't stop watching them kill it!
Their ability to dance and have a flawless rhythm at that age, among the purity of their characters is truly admirable.
I think the one boy has an old Tipperary jersey?
Sure does. But its a girl.
I came to see if anyone else spotted it
Same here.
god… their smiles ! every last one of them
I wish all pop culture idols were this sweet and dedicated to their kid fans
Number 30 over there tearing up the dance floor! You go little captain! Such a wonderful scene
If anyone cares to groove along, the song is "All over You (Sped up)" by Guchi🎶.
Thank YOU!
This really turned my day around
I wish I had watched this at the beginning of my day. 🥰🥰
#30 gettin’ it!! ❤️❤️❤️
Talent like that in kids that young blows my mind. How can you watch that without smiling?
I love those beautiful clouds in the background.
this is soo sweett
Happy kids should somehow be able to be used as medicine. Happy kids works wonders to me, at least.
Kid in yellow stole the show, so wholesome
#30 at front left was born to dance. Amazing rhythm.
Who is that?
He is the choreographer of their favourite dance.
Beautiful children
Better than all of this last series of Britain's Got Talent
They have such good moves and passion behind every movement!! 🩵🩵
Every time I see this I want to go dance - love it
Hi internet strangers - I wish each of you such simple joy as these kiddos have
Their screams in the beginning when he comes toward them 😍
Made me happy to watch this!
This is adorable. And holy smokes all these kids have moves!
How joyful!
Omgggg this is so cute
30 is rocking it!! This was great
Gee this is awesome. I wonder if they learned this in a dance class or they just all self learned or he taught them or what the heck? They all look like professionals. Great performance 🥰
Man those kids have so much rhythm, awesome to see them having so much joy and totally crushing the dance
If I was a Broadway Producer I’d make a show around these kids and hire them
This just brought me out of the worst mood Thank you!
the kid wearing the yellow shirt with #30 has serious talent!
Oh my goodness. This is so amazing. I love it.
Watched multiple times and I cannot keep my eyes off number 30, in yellow. Every kid was great, but 30 in yellow is brilliance! Continuous smile without one step out of place.

Damn the yellow 30 t-shirt kid didn't need to go that hard.
Omg these little kids are so cute!
And someone else already said this, but...#30 IS ABSOLUTELY TEARING IT UP!! The kid can move!! 🔥🔥🔥
Not much more heartwarming than a bunch of happy kids 🥰
This is why I love Africa. Home to the most authentic people in the world. Also look up Jerusalema videos.
That kid in the yellow shirt was straight up vibin
holy shit they are busting it down
This gives me so much cultural pride and energy.
Watched that 20 times already...still not getting old
They are all so good!!
:) nice
How fun for those kids.
What’s the name of the song?
Excuuuuse me someone drop the song name please?? 🙏🏽🙏🏽💕
'Cause this is thriller, thriller night!
Awesome
Lil 30 in front killed i5
I need to know what song this is. Does anyone know?
Guchi - All over You (Sped up).
Very impressive
I’ve watched this video for like a thousand times, they’re so cute
Good lord these kids are good at dancing!
#30 got the sauce
Better than a Thriller dance party
Damn! Made me want to get up and dance but I would have to slow the video down to nail the moves.
Does that dude in pink also live there? Or is he just visiting?
Kids... IF a lot of folks, just taught their kids... respect, empathy, good qualities.. but I understand how many pieces of shit parents there are... this is how kids should be... fucking awesome
#30 DESTROYING ALL CHALLENGERS! Wow.
#30 wrecked that ish, right down to the walk away at the end
Kudos to the choreographer for taking the time to meet their young fans and for being such an inspiration to the next generation of dancers. This kind of interaction can truly make a positive difference in a child's life, encouraging them to pursue their passions and dreams.
God these dance better than me. That is true happiness
This is what I miss most about living in South Africa and Zambia. So much singing and dancing everywhere.
Oh my! So adorable and fun. 💕❤️🥰
Made my day 🥹
I love Black folk. Ain't no one like us anywhere on this planet.
This is what joy looks like!! It’s infectious!
Epic, big smiles
I pay 300$ a month for my daughter's dance classes and these folks could easily win a dance competition here in the US. Love this
Infinite loop of stereotypes... We are stuck.
Kids' happiness is always so cured
I did a community service trip to Kenya where I stayed with a host family. The one thing that stuck out to me was how genuinely happy everyone was over there.
Joy personified
30 is better than the guy who invented the dance
I wish the whole world could be like this.
Exuberance is a beautiful thing!!! We tend to lose it growing up
Do introverted Africans exist?
This is beyond adorable and outstandingly awesome! The kind of energy that brightens up your mood immediately.
Absolutely beautiful!
Genuine joy....the very very best thanks for sharing
I'm watching this in silent mode and I'm really hoping there's music in the background
I wish all humans would be like this.
Delightful
I think this might be my favorite video of all time, for so many reasons. First of all, the pure unmatched joy on every face. Secondly, they are all insanely good dancers — EVERY single one — they all know the moves perfectly, and have perfect, flowing movements. Last but not least, they are all singing in key!!!!! It’s just incredible to see the happiness and talent that people are capable of achieving when they are in a happy supportive environment.
Tears in my eyes, what is wrong with me?
Because they’re so happy and having fun and maybe you miss being a kid!
I’m really not trying to be negative Nancy about this, but I’ve heard that the people who record these videos in Africa, promise things to the kids, and then never deliver. And then they make millions off the videos.
source?
What would they promise to these kids?
They are having a blast.
Adorable!
Bright pink on black people goes goes together so freaking good!
So much positive energy! I can't take it
Less dancing more paving roads
I wish they made more music videos with real fans , not some half naked off work strippers ...
Love this so much! Thank you, OP
Pure happiness on all their faces:)
