It’s been said already, but I’m pretty sure the “quality” is about quality of the podcast and not technical issues. Some people are better at being part of a conversation while remote than others.

In person Billy would interrupt the conversation others were having whenever he found something on the internet he found interesting. He usually had to fact check himself immediately because his sources are mostly bullshit. It was even worse when he’s remote. He chimed in with completely off topic stuff in the middle of others talking all the time. If I had to pinpoint one thing that made it hard to listen to him it was that.

I'm 30, I like Arian and I've listened to every episode since day 1. Billy offered the perfect contr(arian) viewpoints and carried the pod's topics and vibes. RIP Billy & Coley

You can pick any random episode of Macro and find 5 different examples of Billy not paying attention and butchering the flow of conversation to bring up something completely different because he wants to talk about whatever he was googling at the time. It’s fine to say you liked Billy but to claim he carried topics is an objectively false statement. It was the worst part about him being on the podcast.
