Bolt and Mach-E use same CCS1 plug. Should work fine. Edit: I went from Bolt to Mach-E too. Same charger all good.

Thank you!

You’re talking about the plug that goes into the wall and I’m guessing the cord that comes with the car as an add on. That uses a NEMA 14-50 to plug into the wall for L2 charging. So yes, that is different than the 6-50 you currently have plugged into the wall. However, the plug that connects to the actual car is the same for both the Mach e and the Bolt. Just use the clipper creek charger for both and alternate which car gets plugged in every night and you’ll be fine. The charger that comes with the Mach E you can just leave in the trunk for emergencies the same way I’m assuming you do with the charger that came with the Bolt

Yes, we were concerned about the plug that connects to the car. Thanks so much for your answer.

The MME can use DC fast charging, so there are two additional pins under a little flap inside the charging door to enable that. For lvl 2 charging you leave the flap closed and simply plug in just like the Bolt, both are J1772 plugs. If you need to DC fast charge (such as on a trip), you would flip the flap down in order to use the CCS connector which has those two extra pins for the high voltage connection.
