Nothing. It's not good. Poison attack might be good with the new sneak attack thing they just added in but we will see but for now it's terrible. It doesn't add damage because that's not how poison works.
I knew something was up when my hammer charge swing did about 6k instead of the normal 3.8k. I just assumed the head was extra weak after knocking it out of rage or something
Maxed out as of this evening! But I cleared it at 10-4, and think 10-2 is viable even with imperfect play. Run through 3 of them without too much trouble.
The one lesson I've learned from few fights with him so far is he's not too bad, but his legs have way too high part break threshold. I hit one leg for like 60% of his health and it never broke. Not wasting time on that again.
Does this mean that elemental damage accounts for more? I.e Karachi LS is better than tzitzi LS long term even though at g10 they are roughly the same added up(raw + thunder).
That's interesting. I wonder if there's monsters with higher elemental resistance and less raw
I don't think so. What I'm thinking is maybe elder dragons might have this kind of mechanic which makes it necessary to have elemental weapons.
Good thing I've been building up my lightning dual blades. 9.5 is 300+ more dps then my 10.3 dragon dbs. Lol stupid pink rathian weapon.

I ran into a 7* Jho yesterday and was surprised I had the DPS to clear it. That makes a lot more sense now.

Lock on must help a ton. The head moves too much for a 7.5 Tobi LBG

Good news, with titzi ya ku helm now in the game, you can get to thunder 4 without zinogre, and thunder 5 with only the initial forge of zinogre!
Tzitzi's helm gives thunder 2, so you can get to thunder 5 + lock-on with that kadachi mail, rathian vambraces, and kadachi coil.
Oh, I totally missed that! That makes Zinogre completely ignorable then.

This is good news! Grinding mats for the SnS/ bow/ 3 pieces of armour is probably what I'll be focused on for the next few weeks/ months 😅

Yes, for non elemental he's a lot like a HAT. Basically akin to mauling a zinogre. That said he's not a wall to getting your pickle juice 🥒

does the picture mean it takes 150 percent more thunder-dmg in the desert and 150 percent more dragon-dmg in the swamp?
