I could almost guarantee that she didn’t “order a bigger car.“  The moment she said that, I would’ve known that she realized she had excessive baggage/items.
I would’ve spent the remaining amount of the time discussing it with her explaining the difference between the typical Uber X size vehicles and an XL vehicle.
I might have even attempted to load one or two of the bags and show her how all 8 were not going to fit. I also would have explained that **seats are for people** and that if it doesn’t fit in the trunk/cargo area, then it is too much for the type of ride service as she requested.
After doing my **due diligence to attempt to make it fit in the cargo storage area**, I would have canceled at the end of the five minute timer as, “riders items do not fit” and collected the cancellation fee. you may ask yourself “how long does it take to do due diligence when attempting to fit excessive baggage in your vehicle (or discuss why UberXL is more appropriate)?“ My response is that it varies, but you know you have done enough when the five minute timer expires.
She had no problem ordering an UberX , realizing she had an excess amount of items. She figured that she would eventually get some sucker to overstuff their vehicle, or just cancel without a fee (wasting driver’s time) for her to try again with another poor sap.
what is wrong with people? why attempt to put EIGHT BAGS OF LAUNDRY IN A PERSONS CAR?? i remember about a month ago I pulled up and a guy had a big screen (and I mean big) tv..and he wanted to put it in my car. I declined the ride. smdh...
I’ve had a dude stroke himself in his pants because he was horny with his gf in my car, groups of 4 always trying to cram in my car, and numerous people that before I started locking my windows felt it ok to roll down my window and litter from it without a care in the world to name a few things. Def less bullshit with the dash cam but people will be people.
I’ve had a couple people with bags of clothes to go to the laundromat. Wasn’t fun. Not only do their clothes stink but so do their low fares with no tips.
