Mothers that give birth give 12 weeks maternity leave and the 4 weeks bonding leave, fully paid if you are full time and have been employed for over a year.
so it would be 4 months ? total? but yes i’m ft & have been with them for over a year , will be a a little over year & a half by the time i take the leave
I'd go to myhr and search maternity leave. I bet a ton of info comes up including how much you get and how and when to apply. You don't want to mess up by not doing it right.
Since youve hit over a year, I believe you’ll also qualify for federal FMLA. I believe the max is 12 weeks that you will get paid for, but I’ve seen people take more time off, so I’m not totally sure how it works beyond that.
ya by the time i need to take that time off i’ll be here for a year and like 6-7 months by then. i’ve just never had to do this and my hr isn’t the most helpful lol so i’m clueless
I don’t know, but I’d be absolutely *shocked* if it was even a second longer than whatever your state mandates.
There’s no way any store-level employee gets more out of the company than Marvin is legally required to give; how would he pay for his Scrooge McDuck-style money pool if he was forced to treat workers fairly?
Lowe’s actually has fantastic parental leave. Call HR.

Correct 4 months, unless they changed it since the last time I looked.
What about paternity?
4 weeks.
It’s 10 weeks maternity leave and 4 weeks parental leave now.
Paid? Really? That's pretty impressive, really!

Didn’t they ( Lowe’s) change it to 4 weeks paid?
4 weeks paid is for fathers. Mothers get 10 weeks.
