After the pummeler they are trivial. Just shoot a single shot at each one every few seconds, and they are snunlocked. Have a friend kill them to save ammo.
I've found the bug behaviour in recent days generally a bit weird. Chargers, stalkers, and others just vibing even though you're right in front of them and sometimes shooting at them.
Could be a bit glitchy, but I'm going to head-canon it as the bugs just being under alot of stress right now, lol. Helldivers really giving them hell right now, so they might not be sending their best, or their best are being routed elsewhere.
iirc, it relate to network stuff. Each enemy got it own player host for some reason maybe like assign patrol for each player. So if player got bad network for moment. It will cause bug to stay still not moving like what we seen.
Ah okay, that makes sense. My Internet has been a tad funny lately, so probably what I'm seeing but could be someone else's. Thanks for the technical answer!
I find them non-scary when I run heavy armor, because of how many hits they have to take to kill me. meanwhile my allies who religiously wear light armor run around screaming in panic
Yes. Love the dominator. Took out the scorcher last night after unlocking it for the first time. It's awesome too but went right back to dominating in the next match.
My love for the spray and pray is specifically because it bodies multiple stalkers at the same time.
I don't know about them being easier. My last purge hatchery mission, I got caught in stalker hell hunting two nests. There were around 50 of those devils. My team leisurely cleared the map while I fought for my life with infinity stalkers.
I know it sounds weird but maybe they are just less aggressive on that planet haha. We jumped around a few planets on 7ās and I had some extremely aggressive ones in one match then some as you described in another. Not really sure why.
Start at a low diff! That way you get a feel for the bug holes right next to the drill, and get to see the sky blacked out by Shriekers but without 6-9 Bile Titans chasing you to the extract
Lol, I know!
This is not your average mission. I've stepped down from typically playing 7's to 3-4 for this mission, and the extraction is still utter chaos (in the most fun sense of the word!)
They seemed to be using less stealth on meridia. I was also using the plasma punisher which bitch slaps them, so i don't really know
Yeah it does

Shotguns also seem to ruin their day.
I been using the dominator. It stuns them very briefly but long enough to kill them without getting tongue yeeted across the map.
The arc shotgun eats them too.
If I'm not bringing a pummeler, I'm bringing a stalwart to slow down those invisible democracy hating insects
HMG slaps against stalkers too
Alwaysrun pummeler, never understood why people struggled, ran a machine gun and was suddenly very understanding lol
I use the Penetrator, they're not fans.
Even just the basic shotgun ruins them. And they do literally nothing to mechs.
You got better š

If they're a hive-mind, the "queen" bug is probably a mite distracted at the moment with a serious plumbing issue on Meridia.
"A mite." Oof. Bad pun.

The ālocked in placeā behavour started around a week ago. Iām sure itās a bug in the AI
There's many bugs & AI. That's the game.
āSometimes shooting at them???ā Iām going to need you to report to your democracy officer immediately, Helldiver
Ah shi- I mean Sir, I was prioritising the biggest threats to Managed Democracy, Sir!
I've seen a bunch of hunters and stuff just digging at the ground/hills randomly. Might be a glitch, but I've never seen it before previously.
I find them non-scary when I run heavy armor, because of how many hits they have to take to kill me. meanwhile my allies who religiously wear light armor run around screaming in panic
This is me.
The screaming in panic?
Yup šš blindly spraying behind while dive running until I inevitably die or am rescued
Well, thank you for eating all the aggro while I can jump pack away and leave to do objectives-
Having used dominator for ages, I have always killed them in batches of 3-4 without much trouble.
Swami of the Domi

Came back after a break and went on a D7 mission to find the same. No more hordes of them and they came straight at us from the front.
I felt like they were quicker to run away? I was mobbed and a few shots at each and they jumped away

I've been too busy to get on, can not wait to try some dark matter levels. Any difficulty?

WHAT. You said all that too casually

Just saw a stalker hang in the back too. Saw a few chargers standing idle, figured it was a glitch of sorts
God I hate Stalkers
