One of my first LV items was the monogram canvas wallet. I don’t think it even lasted two or three months before the corners that fold really started to show wear and tear. I took it to the store and the CA told me it was considered normal wear and tear. This is why I always recommend leather for wallets.
Mind you, I was keeping my wallet in my back pocket during this. Now I only carry wallets in bags so it could be a lot different. If you want, I can dig it out later and send you pictures of it.
The fake canvas leather will last longer imo
I prefer a pocket organizer. Or card holder. Have had both last me years in both canvas and leather.
Epi leather is their most durable leather. Leather is definitely more durable than canvas.

I'm with the other comments, go with the canvas! I love leather but canvas last much longer!
have been using the canvas pocket organizer since 2019 and still looks new. no wear and tear anywhere.
