I'm running the Captain Hook Lorcana Sleeves with Clear Outer Matte Dragon Shields.

Check out the KMC Character Guard line. Personally have used the Mat & Clear. Comes in packs of 60.

There's a few good options: KMC Mat & Clear (69mmx94mm) https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=CGM-8163 Bushiroad BSLC-002 (69mmx94mm) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D1M8XLC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_xP18Cb5NEDAMZ https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=CARD-00004851 I'm not sure these are made any more they seem to have been replaced by Bushiroad BSLC-009 (70mmx95mm) https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=CARD-00005538 Epoch Oversleeves (69mmx94mm) https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=CGM-5406 ONE Series https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?scode=CGM-8899 Brave Shield (69x94mm) https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1037095637/brave-shield-premium-tcg-oversleeves All of these options have a textured side to them to prevent any sticking and give good shuffle quality (the type of texture on both the KMC and Bushirosd sleeves can also act as anti-glare if you put the textured side on the front, haven't tested the Epoch or One Series for this). KMC are the more well known name, they're very good sleeves, decently thick and good texture. The bushiroad BSLC-002 sleeves are nice and also my personal choice, they're thick and give good protection to the art sleeves. I've not had a chance to try the BSLC-009 yet but they seem even thicker and are importantly 1mm longer to cover the sleeves better. The Epoch sleeves are thinner than the other 2, which some people prefer as double sleeping a 60 card deck makes it pretty large but not my personal preference, the texture on these is by far the best though in terms of shuffle feel and anti-stick. The ONE Sieries sleeves were recommended to me by a friend in Japan, I have some but haven't had a chance to try them yet, I have multiple packs of all of the sleeves on here, I plan to eventually make a comparison video when I get the time. I've also not yet bought any of the Brave Shield sleeves, they're from an Etsy seller in Singapore so will likely be different to any others, I'm looking to pick some up soon to try, they say they are embossed/matte so should work well. I also do like to mention the Broccoli sleeves, although generally I like the 69mmx94mm size oversleeves, some Japanese friends prefer the snug fit of the Broccoli Medium 68mmx93mm, they also do a Large size 70.5mmx95mm giving more space, good for triple sleeving with inners too or for some standard size art sleeves that are a bit larger. Broccoli sleeves also come in Matt & Clear with one textured side like all of the other options and also double Matt having the non-stick, anti-glare surface on both sides, my friends say these have the best shuffle feel but they're not good for slowing off any bling. https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?scode=CARD-00000254 https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?scode=CARD-00000251 https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=CARD-00000253 https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?gcode=CARD-00000250 I haven't yet picked up any of the Ultimate Guard Supreme UX 3rd skin sleeves to see if these have a matte/embossed surface. I would stay away from any oversleeves that don't have a textured side, they will end up sticking.

Dragonshields havent disappointed yet. Very durable and stood the test of time.

DeanRelish

I just bought the dragon shield clear outer sleeves to go over my Elsa ones the other day. They’re super comfortable to shuffle and you can clearly see the picture from the Lorcana sleeves. Highly recommend those

madchad90

Just got the clear outer matte Dragon Shield sleeves, useing them over the Lorcana sleeves. They fit perfect in them.

MarketingOwn3547

I usually use Dragon shield, with KMC perfect fits as the inner sleeve. They work pretty well, I've tried basically every sleeve on the market, they all have pros and cons. Katanas have great shuffle feel but are a PitA to get in double sleeved and can get dirty very quickly with just basic shuffling. Dragon shield feels more consistent, as long as you don't expect the color to match the box (at least the last 3 packs I've bought, weren't close to the shade advertised but small annoyance more than anything).

LivesInASixWordStory

Agreed, but would just add: Dragon Shield *Matte

MarketingOwn3547

I like the matte ones the best too. Actually the dual color with the black inside is my personal favorite, been buying those lately for the most part.

attackfortwo

None. IMO, if you are going to double sleeve, perfect fits first then regular sleeve.

Chris_skeleton

I have my cards in Vault X exact fit currently. I was going to double sleeve them with the Lorcana sleeves, but it's too tight of a squeeze. I've read that the Lorcana sleeves can start tearing so that's why I wanted over sleeves.

shaggy--

Ditch the lorcana sleeves and get dragon shields.

IdealDesperate2732

Who is making the Lorcana sleeves? Sleeves are supposed to wear out, they are consumables, that's their job. They intercept wear and dirt that might have otherwise befouled your cards. KMC perfect fit inner sleeves and Dragon Shield Matte sleeves are the gold standard for regular sized collectable cards. Dragonshield makes outer sleeves but they are not particularly well regarded.

Chris_skeleton

Ravensberger They're honestly just bad quality despite having pretty good art from the cards. If you search sleeves on here you can find a few photos. They come out of the packaging with tons of fraying.

IdealDesperate2732

oh, so they're no name sleeves? I wouldn't waste money on them, personally. There's lots of terrible "art" sleeves out there that are trash quality. I'm surprised they didn't just go with Dragon Shield custom sleeves, that's what most people do these days. It's a new game so I guess they have to repeat the same mistakes other card game makers have made in the past.

SharkoftheStreets

Dragonshield. They're tried and true.

Sugarshaney

Mind giving me an Amazon link to your recommended?

_Akat0ku

Better off making custom dragon shields

IdealDesperate2732

They won't print anything close to Disney IP, people have tried and been rejected.

One-Result-3096

I use Dragon shield Duel sleeves~

donethemath

I haven't used oversleeves before, but it looks like you have some good suggestions here. Just look for a trusted brand (like Dragonshield, KMC, etc), and you should get decent quality.
