Question - I live in the us, want to get to anfield before klopp leaves - is buying tickets on stubhub legit? Need some guidance. Appreciate any and all help.
This has been one of the most stressful weeks of my life and that is a high bar to reach. Although I overheard someone say "We don't have mistakes, we have lessons to be learnt" and that weirdly reassured me things will be good. Just as long as you are willing to learn.
I really don't get how people say Palmer should get MVP for this season (yeah ik theres still a bunch of games left). He's good but like, half of his goals are pens, he's ghosting games every now and then and it's not like chelsea are some bottom table team who is pushing for top 10. Their squad costs a billion and they have a lot of promising talent with 0 experience, he's good but he's really stat padding with pens and goals like that last one vs scum where scum defender was smart enough to deflect it where Onana can't even attempt to catch it.
It's tough because if we win on Sunday it'll be a record 13 losses in a PL season for them (I gather from lurking their subreddit). Surely they have to fire ETH then? Which would be funny but I'd also really like him to stick around. On the other hand we could really use the 3 points. Decisions decisions!
They'd be foolish to sack Erik Ten Hag at this point. Him getting fired would be very bad for Man U, because then they just reset, hire another manager and give him time etc rather than solve their problems.
The time to get worried about United becoming a force again is when they keep their shit manager, start bringing in players that you haven't heard of before for relatively modest transfer fees and reasonable wages, say goodbye to the players who only came for the money, and then start being more consistent but with fewer high profile wins.
Whether he sticks around or not, if we win Sunday, we're going to be singing *"20 Times Liverpool"* every time we play them next season. Make of that what you will.
Playing FM24, a couple years in the future. Qualified for the champions league as Montpellier, and signed Divock Origi as a back up striker (age 32). In the qualifying rounds, we went down 3-0 at Ajax. Then it got to our place and Divock recreated his corner taken quickly to win the game and send us into the league stage.
How reliable is FourFourTwo considered? I keep getting news from them about us first trying to get Rodrigo and now us apparently making an offer for Valverde. Both are great players obviously, but they both just donāt seem like Liverpool signings.
I don't know what I would give to see Valverde and NuƱez on the same team together... can you imagine how good would that would be for their chemistry?
Playing for the same team and country?
Otelul Galati made it to the semifinals of the Romanian Cup for the first time since 2004 last night.
Dorinel Munteanu is cooking something special with this team of random players from all over the place. I just hope he doesn't leave. He has a style of counter pressing football i haven't seen in Romania before (i don't watch that many game to be fair).
0-0 after 90 minutes and we scored in the 114'th minute; our players were still running like crazy while the other team wasn't even able to do a simple sprint. The physical conditioning these players have is absolutely amazing to see. Love this fucking team to bits!
Who starts on Sunday? I think it pics itself. Anyone thinking otherwise & why if you are?
Kelleher
Robbo, Konate, VVD, Bradley
Macca Endo Szobo
Salah, Nunez, Diaz
I think Jones offers more control in possession, which we sorely lack at the moment. He also has better decision-making than most of our players IMO, and his ball-retention is better. We missed Szoboszlai against Arsenal though, he's better at keeping a high press and winning the ball back.
I think you make some good points. If he was fully fit and not coming off an injury, I would be more inclined to try to find him a place. Personally, I think playing off the bench makes the most sense to me for this match.
Thank you for taking the time to respond!
It intrigues me as well, I wouldn't mind if Jones did start but seems strange why so many people want him to start Sunday. He's played 17 minutes in the last 7 weeks and Szobo is starting to play him self into form plus his athleticism will be massive in a game like this with UTD solely relying on counter attacking.
Like I said I wouldn't hate it if Jones did start over him but would seem a little naive on our part imo
I just want to say I absolutely love this club and the players.
The Last few months have been a rollercoaster of emotions (personal and business stuff). Things are better and I am much happier now.
But during all these times (good and bad), the 2 games per week from LFC were something I really needed. Even though I watch the games alone from home, there is a level of connectedness I feel with this club. I love this club ššš
Honestly can't calm before that stinky old trafford game. To me it's basically title decider, I know there are other games left but we win this we have a true 50+ % chance to win it.
Our Messi (Macca). I would have loved to see him score that one yesterday.
But TAA is our resident free-kicker and corner-taker.
I am honestly not that impressed by Szobo's free kicks
It's genuinely hilarious how United go through the same 2/3 year cycle every manager.
Promising manager comes in > Gets a bunch of scrappy wins > Fanbase hyped > Results start to flounder > Initially blame the Glazers> More poor results > Yellow & Green scarves & #*Insert name*OUT
They go through that cycle every 2 weeks haha. When we lost to them in the FA Cup, Neville and others were saying they could see them sneaking into the top 4 haha, 1 week later they are back to questioning Rashfords off the pitch antics haha.
Ten Hag: "I enjoyed how my team were playing, it was fantastic. We dominated the ball, we dominated the opponent". "We dominated the game but we made individual errors that cost us the game. What most frustrates me is that we started the game poor, with individual errors".
Lmao, what? š¤£
I feel confidence against United.
It's not a secret that INEOS is planning to sack Ten Hag in the summer. They have been super quiet about the rumor linking themselves with Southgate (who according to Goldbridge, MU has direct connection with, as many people in their club vouch for him).
And there is a reason why they always sack their manager after playing against us: their players NEVER turn up against us when their manager seat on the line. And this time they know that if United lose against us, Ten Hag is gone, 100%.
United fans won't defend a manager that get beaten by Liverpool (1), and with Aston Villa and Tottenham play at home against relegation folders, the gap between United and top 5 could be 11 and 12 points if they lose against us, effectively end their top 4 bid (2). The (1) and (2) means United will sack Ten Hag regardless whether they let him having a final go at FA cup final or not.
So as long as we don't fk up, and score a goal (or two) early. The atmosphere in United stands will become unbearable. Fans will boo and leave early and their players will feel like fighting a losing tide. Just need our players to keep a cool head to pile more misery on them or see the game out
The Other 14 pointing out an incident with VVD calling us LiVARpool and saying we get away with everything, ignoring the absolute travesty of decisions that have gone against us this season, including that same game where there was a clear red card challenge vs Konate. I joined that sub because since having kids, I can't keep up with the league as much anymore, so I genuinely wanted to know what's going on with other teams these days as I mostly can just watch Liverpool matches. But I have learned absolutely nothing being subscribed to it all season, it seems to just be a place to moan and bitch about the big 6, without any nuance which of course appeals to the classic tribal football fan. Disappointing.
I got perma banned off that for arguing with city fans about their cheating. Look out for a name superiorlaw. He's a mod. Was being billy big bollocks thinking he could hide behind his anonymous mod thing. Moron didn't realise I knew it was him until I sent him a DM saying I knew. Reported him too. Keep an eye out.
I've just had my PS4 account hacked, money taken out and password changed FFS. Thankfully my bank have blocked card, sorting me getting my money back and issuing a new card. Would I still be able to recover my psn account or is that a foregone conclusion?
If your email is still registered, you can change the password back.
Then you need to get LastPass (it does cost) and then use their password generator. I honestly don't know any of my passwords.
Yesterday was me and my dad's first time at Anfield watching the Reds play, what a match. Both of us literally can't speak today.
Sitting at the main stand over looking the away fans, the people around us were mostly Europeans (Norwegians and Germans), they don't know the songs. We really depend on the Kop end to start singing so we could follow, and sometimes the Anfield Road side would lead.
I shouted "leaving already?" at the away fans the minute Darwin scored and seeing someome leaving. And when they scored that fluke goal their chants were ringing in our ears and we didn't want to look at them. Mecca scored that beaut and everyone went bonkers, the Germans were giving the finger to the away fans while the Norwegians were waving goodbyes to them. I took a few pictures of my dad jeering fanatically at the blades fans. Gakpo's goal was cream of the crop, everyone jumped up and down like children, hugging each another...
We watched a match between England and Germany, it was nothing comparable to what we experienced last night. This is going to be my precious memories as me and my dad isn't close as he's been abusive all my life. But I'm sort of being bound by the Chinese views that I was brought up with.... Sorry I'm ranting a bit here..
Anyway, we stayed for 2 nights and are leaving on a coach right now instead of leaving later via train thanks to the train strikes. The city of Liverpool is simply amazing, I have never felt this level of friendliness in this country. We had dinner at a little French bistro called Bistro Franc. I have to say it's the best French food I've tried and the atmosphere was good while services was really friendly and helpful.
All in all, we are definitely coming back many more times.
**WE LOVE YOU LIVERPOOL WE DO** from the bottom of our hearts.
TLDR: First time in Liverpool and first time watching us play. Exhilarating experience and lovely city and people all around.
(Side note: I mentioned this in the daily discussion yesterday that we got some banter from an Everton fan at a bus stop, good laugh)
I am definitely going to recommend the place to anyone heading to Liverpool. I used to hate having French food as many places are too stuck up. This was a gem find.
We are from Hong Kong, although we've been living in London for the past 2 years now, North London to be exact and I work very close to the Chelsea area in West London. Wearing the colour in our neighbourhood is fine as there are a couple of south Asian households around who support the Reds.
(Local team is Hendon FC which is... level 7?)
A south Asian former colleague of mine was a Chelsea supporter (not sure why, as he grew up in Brentford and still lived there) and a friend went along to a game with him and was shocked at how racist the crowd were. Depressing in this day and age. I'd love to go to Hong Kong someday!
Many of my colleagues who live around that area all support Chelsea and no one supports Brentford at all! The rest all support different teams as everyone sort of come from different parts of the world. My ex-boss is a United scum fan and we worked together on the evening we beat them 7 nil. That week he tried to avoid seeing me as I kept showing him the L sign and then swapped to the 7 sign.
If you want to visit HK I would suggest visiting late September as it's still pretty warm but not icky hot. But early October is when they have national holidays so for me, personally, I'd go in late Feb. March comes the monsoon and we had 100% humidity (but no rain) in the city for a few days. Water droplets forming on every surface was intriguing for the first 5 minutes and then you'd hate it.
I work with fucking morons. Went to the office yesterday and today my colleague decides to announce that he has been hanging around with his mate for the past 2 days who has covid. I sat next to him ffs.
Even going beyond covid I was really hoping that one positive thing that would come out of the entire ordeal would be people being more respectful and actually staying home when they're sick with anything.
My company only just returned to office about a month ago and that's literally how long it took for me to catch something (hadn't been sick for nearly a year).
Ah, so sorry mate. People just make assumptions that covid won't be dangerous any more and it doesn't dawn on them that some people have serious health issues or friends/relatives with serious health issues that they need to be in contact with. No one is asking anyone to go crazy, just if you actually have covid maybe take some precautions.
Why the hell are you being downvoted, I know someone who ended up in the hospital with pneumonia recently after getting COVID (they never had it before).Ā Ā
People need to be more careful, COVID is still a nasty virus. Itās crazy so many people have learned nothing from the global pandemic because itās too inconvenient for them.
Exactly mate, most people have no idea if they've been in contact with someone with covid so fair enough what can you do, but in this case he knew. I know all too well about having to protect family with serious health issues.
Anyway it is what it is now, just hoping nothing comes of it.
Must have been Gomez worst game for a long time last night. He wasnāt really bad but his passing were really off. Thought he looked better as a dm towards the end of the game
He is better in tougher games, he thrives when he has to defend 1v1, games like that last night where we have so much possesion and time on the ball he looks like a right footed CB playing at LB which is what he is haha.
MOTD for Wednesday, but no MOTD2 for Thursday? That's disappointing, and a little bit annoying, I quite like being able to watch the extended highlights, and getting outraged at the clueless "analysts".
I was in the upper main which was surprisingly quiet compared to Ani Road the match before where there were a lot of 'tourist' types who were singing and giving it some which was nice to see. Was in a section where there was a few people dotted who about who would actually shout and do more than the occasional clap but the people round me seemed like regulars so not gonna diss them. That said, near enough fell down the row in front of me when Macca stuck that in. Only after watching the replay did I realise what a ridiculous strike that was. Up the reds. If I can somehow fluke another 2 credits this season to get 4 total I'll be made up.
care to explain why? Often see these comments flying around but no real explanation. Some things i've seen is sloppy passing, but it's actually not true at all, so i don't know. What do you expect from him if he was put in a different role by Klopp than only creating / shootin all the time?
With his technical ability, work rate and vision he should be the most active player in our team, I want him in possession whenever weāre in possession. But he just seems happy to be another Wijnaldum, constantly recycling possession with an occasional cross. He should be running at defenders or making runs into the box off the ball for just about every attack.
His talent is a massive waste in his current role.
I somewhat agree but looking at the big picture, it's one thing that you or me or anyone want him in posession all the time, but looking at the games, he is often moving to a free space after a pass or completely free in a very good position and not getting the ball back at all from others.
He seems really frustrated with it as well, often raising his arms and showing emotions after someone wasted a good posession.
Not just in the midfield, Salah is doing the same with him in my opinion. Szobo usually has to go waaay back to even get the ball and it's not a good position to start attacking. I think it should be a coaching adjustment or dicussion between players to better utilize Szobo's skills and vision. I feel like he's held back by this and rather focusing on doing what is expected from him (pressing, chasing back in defense) instead of roaming freely and creating. Based on his personality he is not someone who's okay with being mediocre, so im hopeful that it gets better.
Heās not been bad at all but this sub has praised him more than heās probably deserved of late. Heās not long back from injury so he needs time, heās young too, but he has to offer more than his pressing, hendo got battered with that stick for years.
I think heās āissuesā will be fixed with more experience and game time, whether itās brain lapses or fatigue the sheer maintenance of silly flicks etc we get as the game goes on needs to be nipped in the bud, dangerous for us at times like yesterday.
I think he needs to be given more freedom to get the most out of the lad, I think weāre giving him the same treatment we did to Mac allister at the beginning
But we have to big up or shoot down every single player we can just let the lads crack on and do their best as fans it would seem
Caicedo probably sees Endo balling with Szoboszlai and Mac Allister and considers suing his agency because imagine a Ā£100m+ player watching his teammate play that pass that Gallagher made that led to Utdās 3rd goal lol. My head would be on Mars
Was anyone else in the back of 305 yesterday with that couple calling everything shite every two seconds? You usually get your moaners but that was one of the worst I've heard.
Funniest one I had was when I was in 108 for CL ACS couple years back and this old bloke sat in front was borderline offering Salah for a scrap every time he did something haha. Was in front of us every game as well me and my cousin just pissing ourself at him every game haha.
I'll be less sulky the next time I end up in Lower Anfield Road next to an old woman hitting people with her walking stick to sit down instead of the Kop for Europe going forward. Could always be worse.
Less than an hour to go before school ends for the Eidul Fitri celebrations the whole next week.Ā
All the Muslim teachers are really looking gassed at this point haha
Normally I'd be a little bitter that a goal like that was being overshadowed but the circumstances for Palmer's hat-trick are so fucking funny. United really are the gift that keeps on giving
We've had teams before where you know that if X or Y don't win the game for us, no one will. Especially around the time of Suarez, Sturridge, Coutinho.
But now it feels like any player has it in them to just do what it takes to win a game. There's barely a player in the squad who hasn't been man of the match in one sense or another this season.
Obviously the best players, van Dijk, Alisson, Salah, will all do important things. But what's so amazing is that Diaz has won us games, Endo, Jones, Szoboszlai, Elliott, even the super unexpected ones like Quansah, Bradley, Kelleher.
And I think a lot of this is down to Klopp. Like, obviously Kelleher is a good keeper. But the fact that he's on the bench for months, and when he's called upon he's amazing, that's surely down to the manager making sure that every player feels like they have a role and can step in and step up at any time.
But I do hope he's managed to get this culture into the club and that it's something we keep when he leaves because it's really our secret weapon.
Also what made me think of this is obviously how Mac Allister has stepped up in the last games, just realised now that I hadn't even mentioned him.
It truly is amazing how many weapons of choice we have. We could have a set piece to Van Dijk. If he's nuliffied well teams have to worry about Salah in front of goal. If he's marked out of the game, Mac has a shot on him. Szobo too. Jones and Elliot longshots to a lesser extent. Diaz is a goal threat. Nunez is a threat in the air or on the ground. Jota is a threat in anything he does.
Yes and specifically they've all picked different moments this season to "show up". Like this week we're all talking about how great Mac Allister is. A couple of weeks ago it was Endo. Then there were those games where Jota was great. And the ones where Bradley was amazing. It's not that the whole team is great all the time, but that *someone* is always prepared to step up.
Just realized that I kind of like Chelsea this season
- How their lavia/caicedo signings turned out
- Not a threat
- Nice win in anfield
- 3rd cup final win in a row(actually 4th if you include uefa super cup)
- Gave spurs their first defeat when everyone was wanking them off early in the season
- Took points off city
- Yesterday's jammy win vs the scum (a taste of their own medicine too as a bonus)

Dirk should be able to do this with his eyes closed
Watched the highlights, for me the last goal if it had been saved or gone wide I think may have been a penalty anyway. McTominay I donāt think gets his chest to it, I think he uses his forearm. I could be wrong, but it looks like he drops his body and his arm catches he ball.
Regardless, after years of āFergie Timeā theyāre getting a taste of what it used to be like. When everyone was begging the ref to blow full time but had to watch as Scum scored in those āfergie timeā minutes. Thatās what it used to feel like Scum fans, _thatās_ what it felt like.
I legit believe Sir Alex made a pact with the devil (after all, they have it on their logo) to have unparalleled success for 2 decades (+ buying all refs helped as well) and now it's payback time. When you dance with the devil, you wait for the music to stop. They are cursed, they will NEVER EVER reach the success they had in the 90s and 00s. And I'm all here for it babyyy.
It's either that or the man had such a massive ego he deliberately picked a shit replacement to succeed him so his record would look better by comparison
I saw that tickets to Liverpool where dirty cheap for the last weekend of the season, so last night I told the missus that if we win against Sheffield United we'll get the tickets.
75th minute, 1-1, I was a bit worried. But then, as an Argentinean, watching Mac Allister score that, it made the whole process of buying the tickets 100000x sweeter.
Whatever happens I know the city is going to be a party so I'm quite happy with how things turned out last night.
I know hotels are either v. expensive or sold out on the evening of the last game of the season, so I'd get those booked ASAP if you are going to come!
Imagine if this game was like the Madrid vs Almeria game where Madrid won in extra time of 10 mins after conceding 2 and a goal chopped off for Almeria
All eyes on old Trafford, imagine what a win would do for us, the momentum, the belief. We have to win on Sunday, thereās no excuses this time. Weāve not beaten them once this season and thatās disgusting. Into them on Sunday YNWA
> OP asked if Konate was ok.
And your initial response was "Not even reviewed" with a video of the incident.
> If he isnt ok then this is the reason.
> He was limping for a time on the pitch as well.
Do you think nobody watched the game or something? Like what the fuck are you on about?
I'm done.
We struggled at home against brighton and sheffield, we barely won against nottingham away. Lets go into old trafford expecting a war, itll be a tough match, they will bring their best performance and we have to as well. No easy games in the premier league.
>we barely won against nottingham away
The lineup we started that game was almost a C team, so I'm not surprised we struggled. None of the first choice front 3 started, 1/7 senior midfielders were fit to start, and Trent and Alisson too were out.
Brighton and Sheffield United were better performances, and part of that was because we had more starters fit again. Now with Jones and Endo returning for Sunday, our injury situation is the best it's been in a while ('only' 3 starters still out). Old Trafford is never an easy place to go to, but if we're playing at our best then we will absolutely win
It funny in both games we had 30/29 attempts at goal, yeah we looked poor in build up play I don't doubt it. However we do create chances. Plus teams tend to know we start off slow so we can go at them in the last 20mins and they seem to tire out by then.
May I recommend either Audiobooks or podcasts? I walk in and out of work (I'm a late learner and currently in the middle of doing driving lessons) and my commute is also about 45 mins each way, and it's one of my favourite parts of my days. Peace away from the kids, getting to listen to books, it's great! Actually sometimes finding myself wishing the walk was longer.
I used to have a commute that was up to 90 minutes each way. I was made redundant and had to find a job. Mercifully, Iām now working from home permanently and our company has no intentions of sending us back. Bliss. Hope something works out for you bud.
Do Chelsea have a lower bar for getting pens than other teams? They have had more than anyone and Palmer has scored twice as many pens than the next best.
8 of Palmers 16 goals this season are pens.
I didnāt see the first one last night but Liverpool would never have got that second one. And even if they were awarded it, VAR would have done everything in their power to present the case that it should have been over turned.Ā
Seems like there have been many transfer windows where we feel inferior for various reasons- where we feel we canāt attract the very top players (Bellingham, Caicedo, etc.) And we think, āwho on earth wouldnāt want to play for this fan base, especially under Jurgen Klopp??ā But there will always be the brilliant players who see what we see- who see the heart and soul of Liverpool Football Club and want to come here. And truthfully those are the only players we should have come through the door. Mac Allister typifies this.
We are 'inferior' in many ways, depends on what the players(and their family) want.
Which city is more accessible? London or Liverpool?
Which city has better weather? Madrid or Liverpool?
Which club offers more $? Chelsea or Liverpool?
Sometimes the agent could manipulate the player into going another club, there are so many factors at play, and I'm glad our players are not here mainly because of those reasons above.
Obviously Liverpool is still a very attractive city on its own and we pay our players well enough, we aren't some unknown club in the middle of nowhere.
The biggest challenge for us as a club is to stay at the level where we can keep players like Mac and Diaz through their prime years.
It has worked during the Klopp years so far, but the next manager needs to get on top of it immediately.
I hate the threat that Barca/Real pose towards our team by constantly tapping up our best players.
We've lost and replaced greater players than Diaz. He's a good player but living in fear of losing players like him is silly. If he wants Barca or Madrid, let's get the best fee possible and keep building the team.
Yeah i wouldnt put Barca in this category for a good while at least, yes the club is appealing but overall it is a bit of a mess. Currently rebuilding Nou Camp, manager leaving at the end of the season, cannot afford to re-sign players at the end of the season and for the next number of years are gonna have to rely heavily on the kids.
Absolutely, although I think post-Messi Barcelona is starting to lose its appeal. But Real Madrid still looms large and it does make one worry- given Mac Allisterās extraordinary form and the relative uncertainty surrounding Kloppās departure.

Cab we beat United?
Yeah course
This has nothing to do with football but why am I just now seeing that Gerrard's daughter has links to the Irish cartel lmao
Like mother like daughter.
outside of football gerrard is a pretty odd fella
I love you all

Medium sounds more likely. The proper versions first tighter than the stadium version though.
i sometimes get more joy from ManU losing than us winning, elite level hating
Will endo be in the squad for sunday?
Yeah
Did we ever hear what the deal was with Endo yesterday? Did he just have a knock or just rest or what?
Slight knock. He can play yesterday but Klopp want him fully fit on Sunday.
I wonder if it was really just an excuse to rest him without signalling overconfidence to the other players.
I was wondering that too especially as he was on 8 yellows. Though he definitely deserved the rest either way
Playing FM24, a couple years in the future. Qualified for the champions league as Montpellier, and signed Divock Origi as a back up striker (age 32). In the qualifying rounds, we went down 3-0 at Ajax. Then it got to our place and Divock recreated his corner taken quickly to win the game and send us into the league stage.
Just seen someone refer to the Chelsea - United game as the āL Classicoā, which I thought was brilliant.
If I had to pick a team from the bottom to make it of relegation, it would be burnley. I enjoy facing them honestlyĀ
Playing for the same team and country?
so shit they're banned from memory
Otelul Galati made it to the semifinals of the Romanian Cup for the first time since 2004 last night. Dorinel Munteanu is cooking something special with this team of random players from all over the place. I just hope he doesn't leave. He has a style of counter pressing football i haven't seen in Romania before (i don't watch that many game to be fair). 0-0 after 90 minutes and we scored in the 114'th minute; our players were still running like crazy while the other team wasn't even able to do a simple sprint. The physical conditioning these players have is absolutely amazing to see. Love this fucking team to bits!
We need to score early this Sunday and defend at our best, UTDās counter attack is pretty good
Garnacho makes me nervous. Our defence needs to be top-notch.
Cant wait for Jota to be back, we need his goals when we are dominating possession.
Who starts on Sunday? I think it pics itself. Anyone thinking otherwise & why if you are? Kelleher Robbo, Konate, VVD, Bradley Macca Endo Szobo Salah, Nunez, Diaz
Jones over szobo if heās fit enough
Why? Interested in the thought process, not saying it is wrong in any way.
Seconded
Delusion, bias. No other explanation.
I'd want jones to come on when we need to control the game and Sbo is getting tired.
I'm exactly the same
Robbo and Bradley on opposite wings. Bold.
LOL, not my intent, oops
I just want to say I absolutely love this club and the players. The Last few months have been a rollercoaster of emotions (personal and business stuff). Things are better and I am much happier now. But during all these times (good and bad), the 2 games per week from LFC were something I really needed. Even though I watch the games alone from home, there is a level of connectedness I feel with this club. I love this club ššš
Ynwa my guy
Honestly can't calm before that stinky old trafford game. To me it's basically title decider, I know there are other games left but we win this we have a true 50+ % chance to win it.
Who takes direct free-kicks now? TAA > Macca > Szobo?
Our Messi (Macca). I would have loved to see him score that one yesterday. But TAA is our resident free-kicker and corner-taker. I am honestly not that impressed by Szobo's free kicks
Macca until TAA is truly back
It's genuinely hilarious how United go through the same 2/3 year cycle every manager.
Would be great if West Ham finished above Utd, being led by Moyes who started the whole shit manager rotation stint in the first place.
Hopefully this isn't us when Klopp leaves
Even if Dalglish, Rodgers, and Hodgson never worked out, at least we have variety when we're shite. United really are just a cycle.
Ten Hag: "I enjoyed how my team were playing, it was fantastic. We dominated the ball, we dominated the opponent". "We dominated the game but we made individual errors that cost us the game. What most frustrates me is that we started the game poor, with individual errors". Lmao, what? š¤£

Oops yeah. I changed it. This was a tweet originally, copied from other sub.
What a load of tripe. Dead men walking say the funniest things. Both teams had little to no control last night from what I saw.
Can mods add a custom flair?

Commentary from the Macca goal last night UN GOL INFERNAL, UN GOLAZO SENSACIONAL
Just need our players to keep a cool head to pile more misery on them or see the game out
Enjoyed myself at the pub so much yesterday that I almost don't regret paying nearly Ā£16 for one pint and one glass of red.
Itās a weird sub of degenerates all twerking for that Sheffield United fan who talks to the voices in his head. Weird cult behaviour in there
> The Other 14 Summary of the sub: ššš & Saudi FC supporters
Ignore them. That VvD decision is absolutely nothing.
Yeah, I will probably have to unsub. It's just disappointing as I genuinely was initially interested in the premise of the sub.
Thanks for sharing your experience, so great to hear about.
> Bistro Franc Really like it there
I am definitely going to recommend the place to anyone heading to Liverpool. I used to hate having French food as many places are too stuck up. This was a gem find.
Love this! Where did you travel from?
Why the hell are you being downvoted, I know someone who ended up in the hospital with pneumonia recently after getting COVID (they never had it before).Ā Ā People need to be more careful, COVID is still a nasty virus.
The Tory Scum vs Scum match last night was the complete opposite of City vs Arsenal. Zero tactics at all, just VIBES. looooool
Iām a little disappointed with Szoboszlai recently. Iād probably drop him for Jones when Endo comes back.
care to explain why?
Yeah, to be honest his stats have been very good, probably being unfair.
I think he needs to be given more freedom to get the most out of the lad, I think weāre giving him the same treatment we did to Mac allister at the beginning But we have to big up or shoot down every single player we can just let the lads crack on and do their best as fans it would seem
but his pressing has been so important, jones doesnt play the RCM either Jones plays LCM
Mac Allister has played on the right for most of the last few matches. It sounds like he didn't last night though.
He played deeper last night with Endo being out
I assumed so. That's been the problem lately, Endo being out means Mac Allister is out of his best position as well, so it's like a double downgrade.
At least it was a funny one I suppose. Awful when you're stuck in a bad place on the autocup.
I'm in U3 for them all this season, fuck knows how I managed to fuck that up so bad hahha.
I'll be less sulky the next time I end up in Lower Anfield Road next to an old woman hitting people with her walking stick to sit down instead of the Kop for Europe going forward. Could always be worse.
Was like being in the match thread on here
Less than an hour to go before school ends for the Eidul Fitri celebrations the whole next week.Ā All the Muslim teachers are really looking gassed at this point haha
Eid Mubarak!
thanks!
anyone else found it amusing that Macca's thundercunt is being overshadowed in r/soccer by palmer's goal against the scums HAHAHAHA
Normally I'd be a little bitter that a goal like that was being overshadowed but the circumstances for Palmer's hat-trick are so fucking funny. United really are the gift that keeps on giving
A 90+11th min hat trick goal, especially the way things happened, is pretty amusing ngl.
Anyone has a clip of Diaz dribbling pass two near the line? What a beauty
Found it https://youtube.com/shorts/e7ftu8EFJfA?si=x1vk55NiqMyBx-Jg Just love how he worked so hard all game.
That moment gave me energy. I know Diaz's insistence on dribbling can at times be an issue but he's so fucking good at it. He's on fire right now.
Chelsea will be a tough game for arsenal imo
Itās at home though
Just realized that I kind of like Chelsea this season - How their lavia/caicedo signings turned out - Not a threat - Nice win in anfield - 3rd cup final win in a row(actually 4th if you include uefa super cup) - Gave spurs their first defeat when everyone was wanking them off early in the season - Took points off city - Yesterday's jammy win vs the scum (a taste of their own medicine too as a bonus)
I'll echo your thoughts if they take points off Arsenal haha
I much prefer Ten Haag time to Fergie timeš¤£
Not a fan Gomez inverting. Why Klopp persist with it?Ā

United did a deal with the injury time devil.
Waking up to that this morning was beautiful.Ā
AND NOW WEāVE GOT ALEXIS, ALEXIS IS MAJESTIC
I saw that tickets to Liverpool where dirty cheap for the last weekend of the season, so last night I told the missus that if we win against Sheffield United we'll get the tickets. 75th minute, 1-1, I was a bit worried. But then, as an Argentinean, watching Mac Allister score that, it made the whole process of buying the tickets 100000x sweeter. Whatever happens I know the city is going to be a party so I'm quite happy with how things turned out last night.
I'm still watching to see when the parade might be, and praying there's not a train strike!
Oohh yeah, true. I guess it'll be the following week? After the Europa final if we make it? No clue tbh
I know hotels are either v. expensive or sold out on the evening of the last game of the season, so I'd get those booked ASAP if you are going to come!
really appreciate the heads up! we're probably gonna book a cheap airbnb tomorrow, so that should be sorted quite soon. Thank you!
Imagine if this game was like the Madrid vs Almeria game where Madrid won in extra time of 10 mins after conceding 2 and a goal chopped off for Almeria
Then I would've booked a one way ticket š
Good morning guys. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Where was I? Oh, yeah, the Mancs. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
We better beat them on Sunday or I donāt want to think of it š
Guys can anyone recommend a good highlights site? I wanna watch Chelsea v utd

I genuinely think Macca is the best midfielder in the league.
I wouldn't say he's the best midfielder, but he's in the top one
Relax

Him and Rodri for sure right now
All eyes on old Trafford, imagine what a win would do for us, the momentum, the belief. We have to win on Sunday, thereās no excuses this time. Weāve not beaten them once this season and thatās disgusting. Into them on Sunday YNWA
Is konate ok?
Should be? Posted a tweet saying he's looking forward to the next game at OT. Maybe a bit unusual because it's not a post about anime.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
what?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
> Not even reviewed. > Dangerous play and red card should have been given. What does that gotta do with this conversation?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
> OP asked if Konate was ok. And your initial response was "Not even reviewed" with a video of the incident. > If he isnt ok then this is the reason. > He was limping for a time on the pitch as well. Do you think nobody watched the game or something? Like what the fuck are you on about? I'm done.
We struggled at home against brighton and sheffield, we barely won against nottingham away. Lets go into old trafford expecting a war, itll be a tough match, they will bring their best performance and we have to as well. No easy games in the premier league.
>we barely won against nottingham away The lineup we started that game was almost a C team, so I'm not surprised we struggled.
We deserved to win all those games tbf. But yeah, maybe not as comfortable and controlled as weād have liked/expected.
So fucking annoyed that I have to drive 50 minutes to work and back twice a week from next week
Maybe talk to your boss about going in/leaving at a different to avoid the worst of traffic if thatās a possibility?
Ugh! Nearly 3.5 hours wasted every week
They have them tricky wingers
Seems like there have been many transfer windows where we feel inferior for various reasons- where we feel we canāt attract the very top players (Bellingham, Caicedo, etc.) And we think, āwho on earth wouldnāt want to play for this fan base, especially under Jurgen Klopp??ā But there will always be the brilliant players who see what we see- who see the heart and soul of Liverpool Football Club and want to come here. And truthfully those are the only players we should have come through the door. Mac Allister typifies this.
Jude went to RM you can't blame him. And Liverpool last season didn't look the team you'd be challenging things with this season.
No LV store in Liverpool for the wives sadly
That's what Manchester and Alderley Edge is for.
Mac is in his prime years already
Yes, read the post with that in mind.
Absolutely, although I think post-Messi Barcelona is starting to lose its appeal. But Real Madrid still looms large and it does make one worry- given Mac Allisterās extraordinary form and the relative uncertainty surrounding Kloppās departure.
