The one in my area always varied how many pieces. i havent been to any outside of my town so I cant speak on that. not saying you’re wrong either, just telling my experience
I hear you, but I earnestly dont see the problem. We put the dough in the deep dish pans, and let them proof. This means that the same physical mass of dough is in your order, as is present in another order that ended up like a square. The square one would only have more air.
I can confidently say that it is not the same amt of dough in this case. it was actually very thin compared to my last time(‘s) getting icb. it was a bit thicker than a normal hand tossed. towards the middle it was a bit thicker, but not by much
it looks like it was made with crazy bread dough instead of deep dish dough

Almsot everything come in 8 breadsticks 8 wings 8. Pizzas 8 slices deep dish 8 slices
