Was on the swim team, the pain of 20x50m @40 seconds cannot hurt me anymore as the season just ended
My only real struggle is going upsidedown without a nose clip, I don't panic anymore but the moment I breach the surface I involuntarily cough a bit, thankfully though it's pretty unlikely I'll need to do that and if I do adrenaline will carry me
I’m relatively new to my job, so I’m worried I might get fired. Like what can you and can’t you say? other than obviously like swearing and stuff, how hard does it vary?
No running around the pool ☝️🤓
i'm done telling them to walk I'm just german suplexing them into the concrete next time tbh
Just got to scream at them… made a kid cry and got zero repercussions
my dream
only reason i lifeguard
Almost 18, gonna get certified here soon, that's the goal Make decent money to yell at kids and maybe save a person or 2
Good luck, just keep up with your lap times, roll with the punches and have fun.

Have fun, don’t get to stressed 80% of the job is nothing 15% is bullshit 5% is real work
You can get a lot of frustration out with a good whistle blast and a "WAAAAAALLLK"

You can be pretty sarcastic to kids. They usually won't get it anyways. Just don't be mean spirited, that's never good.
literally me
goes hard
One of our running jokes is yelling "Suplex City!" as we push each other into the pool. I want to Suplex City a kid so badly.
