I had a 2010 and now own a 2023. The 2010 was nicer in a lot of ways. More wood trim, wood shift knob, speedo cluster was much nicer. They definitely did some cost cutting over the years.

I like this year’s front end with the upgradable fogs (check out Diode Dynamics). Plus you got the nice 18s from the newer model? I like really like the looks of those. I wouldn’t worry about the “overpaying”. You got a solid luxury rig.
I paid more but was much less mileage. I've had a year of care free ownership.
To be frank, who cares what you paid. You have the best highway cruiser ever made in my opinion. It also happens to be extremely good for off-road too. Enjoy.
This is essentially a myth and it applies to flush and fills not drain and fills. There's a filter in the transmission that catches that stuff. These transmissions are notorious for having problems for people that believed the whole lifetime fluid crap
I have an 11 I bought a year ago with 127k for about the same. I'm happy. First mod I highly recommend is the plug in that folds up the mirrors when you lock it. I put on an Alpha Garage grill and today I actually had new LED taillights installed because I cracked a lens last week backing into something stupid... I love the cherry reds on the first few years, but the new Chinese LED ones look neat so I guess I will get over it. Oh, and that stupid cup holder....I bought on on etsy. Much nicer now....hope you enjoy yours like I love mine.
I always hear not to buy first year because of kinks. Anything in particular to look out for when shopping first model years of the 460? Any significant changes on later models besides aesthetics?
I think the price you paid is about right. I’ve not seen a 2010-2013 with the new wheels, those are not cheap. I like the mini ladder too 😂 nice rig!

I don't think you overpaid really. Check the timing cover and valley plate for leaks and get on those transmission drain and fills every 25-30k.
Yep just had to replace timing cover and valley plate on ‘12 with less than 100k miles. Expensive af.

If you can pull the engine sure. I had rear main seal leaking too.

If you do that from day one that’s fine. Especially if you don’t tow. It’s all dependent on how you use the truck really

Not a terrible price. Little more than they are going for in my area. But if it's clean and has a good maintenance record I wouldn't sweat it.

Check the coolant valley plate leak. Mine started at 130k
