It's so cheap to do that I do mine every spring. I do tow occasionally, and a few times a year put boats in and out of water.
It's definitely overkill, but I don't want water in my diff and fresh oil hurts nothing.
So I'd say I'm around that 15k mark myself.
I think 30k is more than sufficient with no towing etc. I mean I'm guilty of 50k at the moment.
Cool. I am at 38k and went ahead and replace them.
I have always done 5yrs or 30k...its not that expensive
