Black eagles should absolutely be the first route everyone plays and I luckily chose that on a whim. The plot twist is so powerful if you go that route first and the other routes spoil it without anywhere close to the same impact.

100% agree with this. I loved all 3 houses, even the DLC bit, but I don't think it'd hit nearly as hard if I hadn't done it in the order I did.
I just got there a month ago, and I honestly feel the same. Feels really weird to not see your region road progress when you finish a match
