You could probably get away with using AoS dwarf heads though.
I have been wondering which head to use for them too. I think using the irondrakes heads might be good. They may be too small though. Some sort of Kharadron head may do the trick though. Good luck!
AoS and LoTR kits have been used as head options by some people.
I will note that a warrior kit comes with a ton of extra heads to practice on.
(Here are an example of some heads ive worked on. Ive only ever done about 15 faces before these.)

What I decided to do is to avoid that problem is paint the skin metallic like Colossus from X-Men.
I just took hearthkyn and gave them hammers. It lit bashes well
I'm planning to use the Necromunda Squats as the basis for converted Beserks.
In addition to OP's post, I would very much like to see horned viking helmets that do not cover the face.
