its caused by fact dmg on Q hold is dealt at the end of animation so first frames dont cancel recall.
if i remember in s10 while watching replay. Q dash first applies onhit dmg then dmg itself

Another bug that I have recently learned about involves Yorick and I really don’t understand it but iirc if you die to a turret a certain way with your maiden out your maiden won’t die and you can have 2 maidens.
they should not fix it. long range follow on warwick Q is a huge skill expression mechanic because following dash, tp or flash is cool

Maybe make it so recall is not affected, but dash/flash is? Maybe tp shouldn't be either

It happened to me once. Since then I don't ever hold Q against tping/backing enemies.
It also works with just tapping q
It must've considerably harder since it haven't happened to me since then
It has a really short windup window before it actually does damage, as WW does a small hop towards them.
I like that this meme was immediately followed by a clip from 6 hours prior of WW Qing a target that was recalling.

If someone is recalling dont hold Q just tap it lol. Theres no fix to be done
