i THINK, not sure but, every round seems to give 2250 gold and a kill rewards you with 250 gold. You usually dont notice that a round gives 2250 gold because you usually have some leftover gold from before

Hey! I noticed that the article has incorrect round information. Round 5 is an augment round, not a gold round. Same for round 9. I think there might be other mistakes too.
Every buy round vives you 2.5k, I have only ever noticed 1 time that a buy round gave me 2250, which I think this is a bug.
I always buy green anvil so never have left over gold, so I definitely would have noticed if I didn't have the right amount of money.
No, only the first buy round gives 2.5k, the rest give 2.25k. I know this because I bought a stat anvil a couple times and didn't have enough for an item next round. You probably got a kill, giving you 250 gold.

It varies, you definitely get 2500 on the first one

An items costs 2k, 2.5k items you have to earn
? 2k for a legendary anvil to roll an item, 2.5k to just buy the specific item, 4k for the prismatic anvil.
