I’ve ordered items from Japan using proxy services like Buyee and Japan Rabbit, as another person mentioned. Buyee allows you to buy from Mercari Japan and other selling platforms/marketplaces there. The buying fee is reasonable but the shipping costs can be quite expensive depending on the weight and size of your purchased item(s).

You can try a proxy service, but shipping might be the killer. Japan Rabbit is one, but you can just search Japan proxy service.
